The XRT appears to fly more gracefully and is clearly more planted on it's wheels. That said, the Xmaxx is all about fun, aerobatics and it's ability to absorb intentional abuse. If funds were unlimited, I'd have both......but I think the Xmaxx is in my near future, along with a 30DN DTT roller. Thanks for risking your money and RC for our education and entertainment!

First time viewer here and man I never seen anyone sending mega jumps with as much style as you! Your air awareness and control makes it so fun to watch! I was having to slow mo some of the jumps to figure out what the truck was actually doing in the air cus I never seen some of those moves before. Now I've subbed and am on my way to watch round 1.

Which one do you prefer? Im looking to buy one of the 2 but cant decide wich one for off road (dirt) and some small jumps maybe 2 meters high and i like if the can go fast
Man im totally getting one of these come spring I mainly run in large baseball fields and jump off a large home made ramp. I LOVE the looks of the xmaxx but the XRT handles so much better. Im torn on what to pick
@@MotoRacer171 after the holidays imma get the xrt. I have a xmaxx and that thing is super durable and fun . I added m2c hub extenders with a max 6 esc on stock motor .

They actually are both stock to be honest. Only changes made was the esc in the XRT is a Hobbywing max 6 and has hardened gears. Xmaxx is stock with hardened gears, stock esc👍🏆🏆🏆🏆⚡️
This is possibly my favourite video of yours. The punishment that XMaxx took at the skatepark was beyond insane. I love my XMaxx so much but the way the body pops off all the time is annoying. I would love an XRT but think I will just Wide kit my XMaxx. As There is others on the wish list. But as I said amazing video. You popping up from behind the ramp at the start was hilarious. List all what broke. I bash mine also. I know you broke both of them going that big. I do mine not quit as hard and they break stuff . X-max pins and rear bearing usually go in first run. Mine did twice till upgraded to bolts instead of pins.
@@thunderrc that’s crazy . I ran my xmax on flat ground first day I got it and both rear bearings come apart on axle hubs. The armma kraton took two kart wheels and 2 damn a arms broke . Now all rpm and it’s all good

The X-Maxx is one of the very best R/C vehicles ever produced PERIOD! I am loving my X-Maxx with the wheels of the XRT. On dirt, when turning the is a lot less roll tendency, the tail slides out just right, they are also great for bashing from dirt to pavement. Try it guys. Pretty sweet setup. ✌🏼🏁
Thunder your awesome brother way to send both if them to hell and back. I definitely getting thr XRT very soon. It's more Planted and stable and just handles better. But both are amzming RCs for sure. It's pretty Much all about Preference and what people are gonna do with them. So the are both 🏆 🏆 🏆 🚀
Is it just me or does it look like the rear of the xmaxx is sitting lower than the front considerably, didn't see it going full extension, or did you change suspension tune so it does that

I couldn't jump my RC cars like this. It's hard on them. I cringe just everytime mine rolls over lol. I'm just more into speed. It's whatever you like though

I am looking for a tough RC to play with my grandsons, we have a Slash, Stampede and several Rustler VXL but small things can make them hard to use with kids such as the shell attachment for the Rustler. I wanted to ask what your opinion is for the toughest and simplest to use Traxxas model. I keep buying more but we end up going back tot he original 2 and 4 WD Slash VXLs because they are fast, fun to race and tough as nails. In your opinion whats the best? Should I buy the 1/6 scale and if so XRT?
