I'm excited to share my new walking foot quilting design, X’s. This pattern is perfect for adding a modern touch to any quilt project.
Using a walking foot, I'll show you how to create this unique design. We'll begin by marking our quilt top and then move on to the quilting process.
One of the great things about this X's design is its versatility. You can adjust the size and spacing to fit your preference, and it can be used on quilts of any size or shape.
In addition to the tutorial, I'll share some helpful tips and tricks for achieving the best results. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced quilter, this video will inspire you to try something new and take your quilting skills to the next level.
So, grab your walking foot and let's get started on this fun and exciting project!

I really like this one, it looks very complicated.

Thanks, I reallt like it as well. I think the beauty of a design is when it looks like it was a ton of work but it was dead simple :-)

I hope all the suggests are in the book 😄 I'm going to have to try them all. I would never have thought of just using part of the design - I don't know why - but it looks fabulous. Loved all the tips for making sure the lines were accurately marked. Thanks.

Nice clean design. I wander about the manageability of a lap quilt in drawing and sewing.

Good question! I think getting the quilt spread out on the flattest surface possible and then using the longest ruler you have would be helpful. Also using masking tape off the roll woudl help stretching across long distances accurately. I do plan on producing a video showing how to mark a quilt as in a full sized project. I just need to get my WIPs from my sew-jo video ready to quilt and then i can film.

I use the Clover White Marking Fine Pen. It's great for sharp lines and accurate drawing: www.amazon.com/dp/B0011459YQ?linkCode=spc&tag=onamztombathg-20&creativeASIN=B0011459YQ&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.SVK4DBEPVHD1&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_d_asin

Hi! I get sharp points on my top but the backing quilting, the thread shows up as curved edges. What can I do to get the same consistency for the top quilt and backing. Thank you for the video.

To be honest it's hard to answer without seeing it. It could be a tension issue or the stitches could be too large for the sharp points. Feel free to email me a picture and I'll see if I can help
