XS Tech Tips - Removing Sights with Red Threadlocker 

We're going to show you how to remove sights that have red threadlocker cured on, so you can try to save them and put them on a new firearm.
Important Note: Sometimes, the heat applied to the front screw may not be enough, and the threads might shear. In that case, you can still remove the sight with pliers, but unfortunately, you will not be able to reinstall it.
