xs20 is one of the best budget video camera with pro specs that will more than enough for many scenarios. Fuji has a great tradition of including the best features in their cameras no matter what the cost is .if the sensor supports those specs they will put it into that camera. The xs20 af also is very fast and reliable for me in almost every time i used it. Make more videos with XS20 regarding video features . it has to be put into light.

Im using my X-S20 paired with TTArtisan 35mm for 6 mos now. Its the one I can afford, but I enjoy this cam so much. I love the size, grip, performance, and specs. I never regret i bought this.

I do not enlarge for prints larger than 5x7 so 24mp is more than adequate. The tactile buttons are more of a hinder than benefit on the XT50. The XS20 allows you to keep your hands on the camera and eye in the view finder when shooting. Easier and faster.

I love my XS 20 as it is one of the best hybrid cameras in my opinion . It has great battery life ,decent grip , improved AF and very light when combined with latest Fujifilm lens 18 mm 1.4 and 33 mm 1.4 . Only one negative would be 26 mp vs 40 mp on X-T50 . Thanks for detailed review

I just bought a X-S20 for 900 bucks (with only 200 shots taken). In parallel I bought a 23mm f2 ! I'm a little sad that it has only 4 custom modes for films recipe... I will love to have them on the left dial instead of film simulations.

I am not sure - but if it is like the X-T5, I think it will have 7 custom modes for photography + 7 custom modes for video. if you set up your buttons correctly, you can actually access those more quickly when it is in your hand rather than the XS-20 or even the X-H2 cameras as you can see what you are doing via the view finder.

I have both cameras, I put a smallrig grip on the X-T50 as I did not like the shallow grip. I bought the silver X-T50 and it is a sexy looking camera especially when you put a silver lens on it. X-S20 it is a much better video camera, X-T50 is a great photo camera, I put the xf70-300 zoom on the X-T50 & found the digital teleconverter feature very useful for birds & wildlife photography,, I also find that the 4 custom slots on the X-S20 are not enough. If I could change one thing about the X-T50 it would have been a bigger grip, the smallrig grip attachment has solved that for me & it feels better now with bigger lenses on it, would have preferred the bigger batteries but not too much hassle to put a spare battery in my pocket.

i actually hate the screen of xt50, flip screen is always better imo. I also wish the joystick would feel a little more solid or more easy to move around :) both are great cameras, love fuji

I love my X-S20.. No one asked for 40 megapixels, so they could have just used the X-S20 sensor in the X-T50 and kept the price down.. I think that the faster autofocus and better LCD is worth upgrading from the X-T30 II.. In my opinion, X-S20 has everything you need at a great price. X-T50 is too expensive for what it is

The X-T30 II is still selling in B&H for $999. Wouldn't that count as the "cheapest Fujifilm camera"?

@@henrymediagroup no worries. I kinda get what you meant by it. For the latest batch of cameras, with the latest sensor and all, it should be the cheapest one. I just wanted to point it out in case someone was looking for a more budget friendly option. Other than that, the second hand market should be a great option for beginners as well.

The grip and dials on X-S20 seem much better than on X-T50... I am somehow missing the point of this X-T50 design.

I have an X-E3 that has hardly any grip but my X-S20 has a wonderful grip. I fail to understand why Fujifilm does not have a decent grip on their "T" ranges of cameras. People like the look of them but putting an additional grip on them ruins the look. I am also not a fan of the vertical shutter release buttons on the "T" ranges of cameras because I find it awkward to use, whereas the angled shutter release button on the X-S20 just feels natural.
