One of my most favorite songs by Xscape. Tried to hold back tears as I watched this video, haven’t seen it since the 90s. Reminds me of a real happy happy time when I was with my mom and siblings. I lost 3 of them. 27 years and it still hurts. I know I can’t go back in time but I can try to smile through the pain. This was my mother’s song. Crazy how music puts you in a time capsule. These were some great times! Especially with female groups and when women could sing and didn’t have to be naked. Why did things have to change.... we need to get back to this! Groups like Xscape made you want to be in the entertainment industry. My friends and I used to dress like this and sing before and after school and during lunch time. Life was good back then and then in a matter of minutes it changed. Whoever still has their mom, sister and brother or parents cherish it please. Don’t fight. This world is tough when you have to raise yourself and you’re alone. My mom was my best friend. Only had her for 14 years of my life. Cherish every day and don’t wait for the holidays to show someone you loved them. But God has kept me! Stays blessed everyone.! 💜💜💜

Weak may be the biggest song on The Billboard charts, but UNDERSTANDING brought a new understanding of what a REAL R&B group is suppose to be, when I heard them in real time back in the day. I fell in love with Xscape, from DAY 1! And the difference between Xscape and my other girls S.W.V is that ALL of the members from Xscape had lead parts on almost all of their songs, but CoKo was the mic hogger on every one of their songs.
