20W fiber galvo is available and relatively low cost. I wish they had the 30W or 50W fiber laser option on this.

Looks nice, though for that price point, I'd probably buy a more powerful dedicated fiber, since I already have the D1 pro and F1

I read through the specs on this the other day when the xtool video came out, and it says the conveyer opens the usable area up to 220x500. That's probably as wide as you can go and stay on the conveyer. And I would expect, if they don't come up with an extension system, that's all you will get for a single object. That's still good for a galvo, but less than you would hope for. The other function for the conveyer is really intriguing though. I've been making a lot of acrylic key fobs lately. Cutting them on the P2 and engraving on that conveyer would sure speed up the process. IF it can actually hit dead center every time.

I have the Xtool D1pro 40 w. Its not an easy laser to use or program. I hope this one is as easy as it appears. I dont use my laser near as much as i should because of difficulty with programing it. A camera seems to be a game changer

Been patiently waiting on hybrid lasers to come out since I'm shopping around for second laser (diode/fiber). This XTOOL may be it depending on price of course. Can't wait to see the unboxing vid of it.👍

@@fruitloops68 Thx I checked it, hopefully everyone who gets one sells me on it. My 80W c02 costs around that same price range. So you can see my hesitation 😂 but a hybrid would be worth it.

@@1hagglerand that’s IF you get then$1000 discount by giving them $100 now (before the 28th may). I just spent $5k buying the Snapmaker Artisan and all its add on accessories and wish I would have waited. Although this has the dual extruded 3D printer and CNC along with the 10,w 40w diode and 1064 IR laser….Im still crushing on this Ultra

The software has what they call curveace. You can automatically engrave on curved objects up to a 45 degree curve. I am wanting this new ultra soo badly. I’m kicking myself for buying the Snapmaker Artisan a few months ago. That 5k could have got me this instead. Of course the Snapmaker does 3D printing and cnc as well as laser, but I’d do without those in a heartbeat. Time to save up I guess

@@LaserEngraving911 im thinking about selling my Beast and some other things just to get this. Hahaha. Im thinking it will be the difference between success in starting this new business and failing. The CurveAce looks like it would be a game changer for fast efficient work of everything from ring engraving to full gracefully curved vases

Do you know if this will be portable like the F1 is? I have a glowforge but I’d like to be able to engrave on items I’m not able to with the glowforge and also do craft shows to engrave on the spot.

Oh yes it will be bigger than the F1 but still very portable and easy to transport.

I know that the fiber part of this laser can engrave metal. But what advantage is there having the diode with this machine?

The Diode laser can take care of all the material that the fiber laser cannot. Like Leather, Wood, Acrylic, and other non metal items, but it wont do glass

Help! Got Xtool F1 ultra. When I Frame on a product the framing is in the correct position. But the finished lettering has moved below the framing box. Any help would be appreciated

Well hard to say the final price with out seeing the full packages and discount but I would say somewhere between 3500-5000 in the end

How capable do we think the 20w fiber will be... wish theybwoupd disclpse the fiber source (jpt...raycus...max etc)

Oh im sure that info will come out soon, could be made in house. Or a special 20watt made by one of those names, just for Xtool. It seem xtool has enough pull to get one of the main laser source manufactures to make some custom stuff.
