fell asleep days ago when I started this unboxing & discovery and forgot about it until yesterday when I saw George's new tag. So I finished watching and that is a really awesome new toy you have there. A couple tools in one. Your dragon came out sweet. Loved the resin technic. Thanks
@@Toonpish It's not you Wendy you have my attention but everytime I put my feet up at the end of the day to settle in for some youtude and a cuppa (as you say) I fall asleep stright away, done missed the show and my cuppa is very cold as well.😔 😴
I've seen several artists use this machine for everything from doll customizing to mould making to interior design and I really want one every time. This hasn't lessened that desire one bit!

I purchased the D1 and its'still in the box waiting for it's own "craft room". I have to admit....it's a bit intimidating, but hopefully I will master it and make some cool stuff. Would love to see more from you on this device !
Nice, I have been tossing up on buying one but this one is a beaut, I like the fact it has both the laser and blade. It’s a decent size too. Will see if it’s sold in Australia, sometimes it’s slower to get something’s here and I have to wait up to a year before it is sold in Australia. Nope shipping from USA cost once converted to Aussie dollars it’s way out of my budget shame it’s a nice unit.

OMgosh thank you so much for this. I pledged for a kickstarter for a laser tool and I’ve been so scared about getting it and if I was going to be able to use it properly or if I was going to get any use out of it at all. Now I see I will be having a TON of fun when it arrives! ❤

Excellent review, I love this, if I sell my Cricut explore 3 I'd prob be able to just about afford the M1 5W. Do you still see yourself using the Cricut? I love my Cricut and worry the M1 would not be as good for vinyl, etc.
Okay so this is honest When I got the M1 my cricut was put upstairs as room was an issue. I haven’t brought it back down since. However Cutting some small pieces from vinyl hasn’t been as straightforward sometimes as I would have liked. I would say the cricut does its job with this specific task better. But the M 1 does so much more. I have found the cricut works best on vinyl but the M1 is a close second. 😀 Hope that helps

I’ve wanted a machine like this for so long but similar to you Ive been a bit scared lol watching this though it looks so easy and very comparable to a cricut (which I have also). Just been having a look and the price isn’t actually as bad as I thought it was going to be especially when compared to the glowforge 😳 Did you get the 5 or 10w? X
Uh nope. Too expensive. I’ll stick with my carving tools for woodwork or wood burners. Too damn pricey for this old gal. Just set myself up with everything needed to do tumblers and blew about $1500.
@@Toonpish maybe it will be like when computers came out and was crazy expensive. I spent the same amount back then as this is now. Maybe it will drop in price as time goes on. Lol wishful thinking? 🤭
