These Chinese scanners do not support older American vehicles going back beyond 2005. Buy American scanners if you have older vehicles which need scanner support.

Good review. I dont feel like dropping $$ on a tpms gadget since I only have two cars. But what I gather if you have a new other brand programed sensor the xtool will not be able to clone etc to your ecu since its not a xtool sensor??
No, not really. It will register other brands to your car ECU just fine. The only difference with XTool sensors is that you can also use them to clone your old or existing ones.
It will work. There is a difference between programming sensor vs registering sensor (but these terms are often used interchangeably). All sensors have unique ID. They broadcast that ID wirelessly. Car receives that signal and if those ID are registered in TPMS ECU, it uses pressure data from sensors. OEM sensors ID can’t be changed (re-programmed). Autel sensors can. Autel can register both OEM and their own sensors. You rarely need to reprogram sensors. 99% of times you just need to register them. I hope it makes sense.. 🤪
