Very informative and detailed illustration. I notice both the Optical Fiber decoder box and Can Bus decoder are used to proudce Bose system sound and steering control, I reckon. Please confirm. I plan to buy and give a try on my Cayenne 2006. Thanks.
I have a 2006 cayman with premium Bose, do not buy it because I spent countless hours trying to get it to work and took it to a shop and they couldn’t figure it out, buy at your own risk, my connectors look exactly the same
Hello, I connected everything as in the video. The radio works as far as the internet goes, the radio station works but I have no sound, I connected the BOSE DECODER in exactly the same way and connected the cables. AUX IN and AUX OUT cables connected to each other unfortunately still no sound. What am I doing wrong? The previous owner had connected a DENSION GATEWAY to the back of the CD changer. Is it maybe because of that.
at 0:58 you can see all the way to the left, the module that comes with the Radio: "Head Unit Replacement". I believe this is the connector/decoder for Bose Version.
