PLEASE READ!!
Just for clarification, there are two groups of students that live in DP: upperclassmen (sophomore-senior) males and upperclassmen (junior and senior) females. I personally, as well as a few other sophomore girls, lived in DP because of the influx of freshmen girls in the L (sophomore girls dorm). All of the rooms look the same. The floors are separated by gender. I hope this cleared up any confusion.
Hello lovelies,
Long time, no see. Thank you for tuning in to my video. As you can tell by the title, in today's video, I will be showing you around XULA's Martin dePorres residence hall while also allowing you guys to invade my dorm room.

I heard in another video if you have a certain number of credits you can be an underclassman and say in DP. Is that true?

Mya Nicole Yes! A sink and a bathroom. All of the rooms are exactly the same

can freshman stay in dp or they have to stay in kd?

Quan'ell Kitchen You’ll be assigned to kd first. If that fills up then they’ll put you in the L and if that fills up, you’ll be in dp

Can you cook in the dorms? Like, can you Bri g a blender or instapot?

Marissa Jones They only allow you to “cook” with the microwaves on each floor; they shouldn’t have a problem with a blender but no to the instapot.

Destiny Williams Did a lot of grad students stay on campus? Room and board sound really expensive from your other video.

Marissa Jones No problem! Congratulations on getting in! In my opinion, staying on campus is cheaper, especially if you consider how the meal plan, internet, electricity, cable, and utilities are all factored into the price of around $1100 a month (if you divide the cost by a 5-ish month semester). The only downside would be not being able to really cook your own meals, not having your own space. I’ve only known three grads students that lived on campus. They were all in the pharmacy program and lived in de Porres.
