I saw this same video being shown in the Mahindra lounge when I had gone to book this. In my honest opinion, I feel this car is worth the price. I've driven Nexon amt ,which I feel is the only worthy Diesel competitor to this car, this car responds better and I feel better sitting inside this car than Nexon. Nexon is a very good product but for me I like this car because of the many features and interior feel this offers with the colours of the materials, the features and overall driveability. I already have a big car so I'm not concerned with the boot capacity which can be a shortcoming for people. But I like this car a lot that's why I've booked it after much consideration.
We should not buy a car just by it's fancy features. I understand that there are few shortcomings in this model. Reality is any car model does have shortcomings. A way a real car is worth by it's engine and not by the so called infotainment system or rear ac vents. Many of the features we can retrofit. But you can never think of changing the engine/transmission. In this section you have to trust on the reliability and history of the company. Another important point is safety. Definitely Nexon is a great competitor. No doubt in that. Nexon BS6 is phenomenal, great value for money, make in India with top notch safety features. But still you look at these 2 vehicles with the mindset of owning an SUV then XUV is the closest match. As we all know none of these vehicles (Nexon/XUV300) are SUV but crossovers. But XUV300 has evolved from Tivoli Ssangyong which is a real SUV. The aerodynamics, tyre separation, Wheelbase, all 4 disc brakes, boxy pattern and the broadness are close to the real characteristics of SUV which XUV300 has. You can always buy Nexon. That's completely your choice and I appreciate that. All I want to say is XUV300 gives you more flavor close to a true SUV.
I get mileage of 11.5 in the city and around 17-18 on highway on the diesel manual. Believe me I know this much difference sounds ridiculous. But I have driven my car for more than 3500 kilometers and there's no change.

Bhai isse acha to creta base model leke use bahar se modify krwalo...wo fir bhi iske top model se 2-3 lakh sasti padegi....plus usmei mileage achi hai....boot space acha hai...cabin space plus legroom & headroom bhi acha hai.

Petrol Amt mai..1st and 2nd gear shifting around 2500km mai ho raha...because of that mileage kam de rahi gaddi. Did you observe this? I tried my best that it shifts to 2nd gear quicker...but is doesnot happen.
You didn't mention any better alternative diesel automatics to XUV300. Moreover in all comparisons between nexon & brezza amt, brezza is said to be smoother of the two in relation to gear shifts.

@@umakanthyalkur842 I am still not sure about kia. As its first time for kia in india . Also mahindra is made for indian roads. But when it comes to pricing and somewhat in looks, seltos looks good.
Xuv300 is compact SUV is also a good option, but seltos is new, fresh, design n spacious ..parent company of Kia is Hyundai , if u have trust with Hyundai ,seltos if good option to proceed , u can check sales of seltos from lunch date to know is it good or not ,
