What really should be done at major service is 1)Radiator Cleaning 2)Intercooler Cleaning 3)Transmission and Differential oil Change 4)Brake fluid Flush 5)Timing Chain/Belt and all the tensioners and rollers should be changed 6)Brake's Cleaning and Service
one suggestion, i never changed engine oil and coolent at service centre. i usually do in shell petrol bunk. or else they do top up and dont replace entire engine oil
do we need to change disc brakes and pads at any given point..? mine has completed 56000 kms and today I gave the car for servicing as I wanted to get the suspensions checked as I am going in for tyre replacement. In repair order they have mentioned brake discs and pads change..!! I guess machine shop mein ghis kar kaam chal jana chahiye for disc brakes. your suggestions please. Thanks.
Brake pads and disc can be changed separately. 56k km mein change brake pads And brake disc machine shop se ghiswalo. I changed brake disc at 1.2 lakh km usse pehle need nhi h
Please help me I have Elite i20 petrol 2016 model I purchased 2nd hand in 2018 with 11,000 km today it around 59,000 km approx, Planning to change reasons mentioned below 1. clutch plate on 40k km, 2. 4 clutch cylender, 3. ABS on 57,000 km, 4. Front Suspension 5. Air condition coil 6. Music system 7. Front new Tyre 8. 2 Engine Belt first one on 12,000 km, 2nd on 55,000 km. 9. Battery on 15,000 km I didn't mentioned regular service because it's part of regular expenses. I am planning for XUV 500 or HEXA these car also have expenses like my car Elite I20 ?
With regular maintenance engine components have no issues. My xuv is now 1.25 lakhs km old no engine related problems yet. I’m on the original clutch plate still. So I’m sure a car in good conditions will give you no problem. But get it checked first properly at Mahindra. Specially the electronics.
Hi FoodieDriver , I have a 2014 W4, now done 54000 km. Should I sell now or can I use without maintenance issues till 1.5 lakh ? I don’t want to sell but just a little worried if Mahindra can last that long without issues ?
i have same 2014 W8 and now upgraded android. did 86k kms. i have recently changed winshield, headlights set and light upgraded with hid for projector lamp and replaced fog lamps with led. initially planned to buy thar and now seeing the vechile condition i wont sell atleast another 4 yrs
It’s a good choice. Just get all electronics checked properly and get a mechanic to check basic engine parts. If old car is maintained properly it will give you zero problems. My car is now 1.26 lakh km driven. No mechanical failures.
Timing chain is inside the engine compartment and is made of metal. No need to change it. The timing belt which is rubber changes. Then bushes i change regularly at 30k km to avoid excessive wear. They are cheap to replace hence I don’t wait for them to go bad.
No not at all. It’s not related. The car is good for cities it’s comfortable to drive good ground clearance and good fuel economy for the size of the car.

Order mahindra genuine parts from boodmo Specially timing belt and auto tensioner orignal hi lagvana. Engine oil manual mein dekh ke vahi specification ka mangvana and oil filter bhi orignal mil jaata hai.

Transmission oil kabhi bhi pura nhi nikalta hai 50-60% hi nikalta hai. Tabhi puri quantity nhi aati. Proper flush of transmission oil normal service mein nhi chahiye hota unless koi major issue ho. Don’t worry about it.
Go to any mahindra service center. They will do proper checks with s computer and then do full physical inspection of a car. It’s a 80 point check that the company does.
Bhai Who tell you Mahindra Maximile Neo is Full Synthetic because on bottle there is nothing mention. I have experienced ki companies Synthetic Oil jab bhi dete tab hamesa likhte hey only mineral oil par hey kuch nahi lekhte ya phir faltu ki bate likhte hey Jese it is Premium and so on.
The interval of oil change recommended by Mahindra is 20,000 km. That is only possible if it’s a full synthetic oil. Feo branding means fully synthetic. Plus in owners manual the specification of feo says synthetic. All oils are mentioned there.
@@TheFoodieDriver Bhai I am in Transport line so I give you a reality/ practical check do not think that owner manual give right information about your individual Oil change intervals because it is only depend your vehicle daily running that's way I give one example. In our fleet 40 Tata and 60 Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles Tata manual say Oil change in 10000km and Leyland say 60000km the gap is very much we have double checked with Leyland company but they tell in written email our Oil is best and it give 60000km interval. Then we decided practical checking of Oil and we found Tata vehicles are not going above 8000km and Leyland is not going above 30000km Even we use Tata and Leyland genuine Oil. So it's your vehicle after showroom don't take risk change suv Oil in 12000km Only if Oil bottle written Synthetic otherwise Oil interval is not more than 10000km. And you give me one reason it is Synthetic but I give you practical reason it is not Synthetic because no company retail sales 15w40 Grade Synthetic Oil in Rs. 2000 for 6ltr.
I agree with you. Even i change my oil every 15000 km as i said in the video not 20000 as said by company because of my extreme driving. As you have seen my channel i drive 24 hours or 1000kn without stopping many times. But regarding the oil. I am friends with Mahindra Delhi service head. He assured me that it’s a fully synthetic oil. And i know i can trust him because we have known each other before even I owned this car.

Service har 10,000 km mein hoti hai. And major service har 20,000 km mein. To normal service ka kharcha 7000-8000 And major service ka kharcha 10,000-12,000. Agar manual ke hisaab se jao to. Aur average 12.5 ki city mein. 15 ki highway pe.
HO to jaati 5hazar mein, but aapney kabhi notice kiya hai unke na tools correct hote hain aur na lift, upar se duniya bhar ki dhool apke engine aur brake parts mein chali jaati hai, seat aur upholstery maha gandi kar dete hain woh alag. Iska pata turant nahi chalta saal bhar baad pata chalta hai. Mehnga roye ek baar, Sasta roye baar baar!
Yes you’re right. Lekin koi bhi problem ho mahindra guarantee leti hai kaam ki. Jaise mere ac filter mein issue aya tha after service. They changed it for free.
