It's pretty cool stuff in a way. This system is probably 8-10 years old, but I've never had cause to scope the stepper motor before. Gave me an excuse to learn something new.

Man I have a gator 625i I was driving it fine then backfired and now I’m not getting spark from one cylinder I changed the coil and plug nothing I put a meter on the white and yellow I have 13v it’s the cylinder closest to the seat
Chris, thanks for your video I had that same issues with rough running gator, I replaced the throttle body and it runs alot better for sure but now it wants to backfire, when you are driving and let off of the gas it will backfire, any idea what would cause this or what I should adjust?

Having trouble with my 620i and the throttle setup looks exactly the same. Every few weeks the crank case fills with fuel , I have checked for a leaking injector, as well as a rupured diaphram in the fuel regulator. Also it is low on power. Do you have access to the coolant temp resistance chart? Im thinking its running way too rich all the time due to a coolant temp problem......
I think I have it saved yet, I'll have to check through my database tomorrow. Honestly, it sounds very typical of a carboned up/oily throttle body keeping the primary throttle plate open more than it should be. The fueling strategy is heavily based off of primary TPS readings, so if that throttle plate is even a few thousandths off of correct idle voltage, you will have all those symptoms.
Glad you enjoyed it Francisco. That's actually OEM tooling. I like them occassionally as it saves me the risk of damaging seals or connectors back probing. Any kind of notebook does the job, the computation books just tend to be sturdier. Every day is a school day and so I do my best to keep track of all of it.
