@@ghostedessence8067 Waynes verse is a little extreme but if you pay attention to what X is saying he's not condoning school shootings but questioning why there's nothing being done to prevent school shootings from happening
I was thinking this song sounded unfinished like maybe there was more to xs last verse. Like as soon as o start jamming bumping my head he finished screaming :(
**EXPLAINING THE LYRICS: ** This song paints a picture of a potential school shooter struggling with bullying, stress, and mental issues. Wayne plays the struggling student in the song while X’s plays the person that’s against the school shooter. X also demonstrates the frustration and madness he had for these incidents through his tone of voice. “Boy, you better buckle up 'cause I got questions for you fucks, I've had enough” The song was recorded by X in 2018, along with “Hope,” in response to the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which killed 17 people. It was intended to be released shortly after the shooting but decided to not release it, due to the heat of the moment at the time.
Yea I completely agree. If the song was at one point in time a complete song it sure doesn't sound that way here at all. We have X's Hook, a (in my humble opinion) awful verse from lil wayne, X's hook again and a short scream section at the end that ends before it actually goes anywhere. This song and so many others on this album just reek of a half hearted rush job. Some songs on here literally sound like low quality phone recordings. This album needed more time and love put into it. I dont say all this to hate. I like X's music alot. I expected the people putting together his "Final Album" to frankly do a better job than what they did.
His lyrics “I got a question, where was protection? How did this happen? Can we go backwards!? (can we go backwards?)”... Can be applied to Jah himself If only. 😔🖤
I’m pretty sure we are all aware that it was about an actual school shooting, but after what happened it just sounds like he was referring to his death. And it’s really sad, Rest In Peace Prince X.

bro this song is beautiful honest masterpiece, it brings up topics not really talked about and r important and the song is really different. this song right here is why these 2 are generational legends
This song was like his life. Dark yet cool. Getting help from others by collaborating with popular figures. When it got interesting and FUCKING COOL it ended.
My favorite joint off the album! It is too hype, especially X going super saiyan at the end! Lil Wayne emulates X in this song with the "yuh" at the end of his sentences and his flow and wordplay are sick in this!
x honestly would've ruled hip hop for a while, it's truly a tragedy and i can't believe i recently found out about him. rest in peace millions upon millions will miss u every day x:( you could've been something special, wish we could bring u back
I Listen all the songs of X Always since the begining because more than a trend, X mean something important to me. He didn't deserve a dead like that he was changing for the better that's so difficult to do, R.I.P X you deserve so much better.
