i started listening to x around 6 years old. I am now 12 and i still listen to him, he helps me let my emotions out. I cant talk to anyone not even my own parent and x is the only way to let out my feelings. I fucking miss this man so much. Im glad people are still keeping his music alive.
I think 12 is when your filled with emotions- I’m 27 so, as long as you’re finding positive (just music, not acting out any music videos) ways to express your emotions if you can’t talk to anyone about, I support it. I have found many ways to try and find the right description words for my emotions, it resonates hard when an artist says something and the chills I get; has made a lightbulb in my head go off. It will continue to make emotional connections for me and many others, regardless of age. Music heals- you’re not the only one out there feeling this way, you’re not alone. Maybe no one in your immediate life understands you, but they will if you find the right ways to talk them, or someone who can help. Keep listening on and discovering. I learned way more about my emotions and self through chosen music and books than through anything else.
