I’ve always been a huge rock fan and hated the modern trap/rap music. When I first heard “Look at Me” by X, I thought he was just another untalented rapper who becomes a one hit wonder. A friend ended up showing me a few more songs of his and I really enjoyed “Riot” and “I don’t wanna do this anymore”. When he released 17 I didn’t listen to it immediately, but I decided to give it a chance and I was completely shocked at the talent and variety of music that this kid had. I began following him more and felt as if I was watching him grow as an individual. It was satisfying to see someone with a troubled past positively impact peoples lives not only with music but donating to charities and just being a supportive person. RIP X you will be missed🖤

X's music impacted so many people, especially the youth, who were going through tough times his music spoke to so many. he turned the horror of pain from depression and anxiety into beautiful, relatable art that touched so many lives. Rest up X❤️

The plot of this song is hard to grasp at first even if you have the lyrics. It is essencially about x feeling lost and wanting to be famous, this song was made just as he started to gain underground support, in it he explains that the reason he will be famous is because he sold his soul to the devil in return for support. "Taken aback he smiles and tells me, what you crave will soon be yours, what i crave is already mine, anima vestra (your soul)" Really deep song when you look at the lyrics.

I appreciate you guys for making this video. I recently discovered you guys and I immediately fell in love, especially since I'm both a metal head and a hip hop head. X meant a lot to many people, including me, despite his past. He was trying to be a better person, helping his friends and family and donating, etc.. but he was taken from us way too soon to see him grow as a person. So, much thanks to you guys for being respectful and acknowledging this tragedy On another note, I definitely recommend *lil dicky - pillow talking* watch the music video because it'll help make a lot of sense and it's pretty damn great.

Guys, if you want an X song thats right up your alley, listen to King (not King of the Dead those are two different songs). Its has a very Giles Corey-esque beginning and transitions into whats essentially blackgaze. He was a very versatile artist and a great talent
