This song now confuses me. Some of the lyrics act as if they are reflecting on Xs past life, and the other lyrics act as if they are remembering Xs good life. It honestly makes no fucking sense

As a metalhead I'm not quite sure what this means there's probably hundreds of examples of rap over metal I mean that's what a good amount of Nu metal is. The point is with the proper audio mixing which the likes of X and West have access to it's fairly easy.
