Yes was waiting for this. He is a Canadian rapper, songwriter, and former professional wrestler.( He wrestled for ten years but had to quit do to injuries and bad politics) Tom Is 100% independent. He writes all his songs. Makes all his beats, Sometimes gets help with his Hooks from his Girlfriend Nova Rockafeller (Also a music artist) She also Directs, films and Edits all of his music Videos. Most of their videos are built and fillmed in their home and backyard. Tom McDonald is mostly known for his political songs like Fake Woke, Snow flakes and New world Order. But has a very diverse catalog. The song that pushed him into popularity was Dear Rappers. He's got so many songs with catchy hooks. He's a versatile artist. He does political songs but also songs on mental illness/depression and other things. He's done rap, rock, mixes of both. He even did a pop song for his girlfriend who directs his videos. You will see his family members in some of his videos, his mom, his dad, his sister, his girlfriend and even his girlfriend's dad is in at least one of the videos. He usually comes in pretty fast with his songs so you usually have to be ready. He's coming in jam packed full of facts. You never know what you're going to expect with each song from him. Watching interviews with him, I've only come to respect him much more than just watching his videos. He interacts with many of his fans and other reactors, comments on their reaction videos at times and just overall, a really cool dude.

He is horrified at what America has become and he is from Canada originally so he can see it from an outside perspective. His other former songs are complete fire. I will be looking forward for your future reactions to him. Please don't dismiss this due to it's controversy because all of his songs are made to wake people up to the truth about what this country has become. I feel he is just leveling the playing field. One of the reasons why Tom's lyrics grab hold of you so fast and push the music into the background of your mind is because he doesn't do much of a musical intro for most of his stuff. He comes in fast and hard and never lets up with his truth-bomb bars. His physical appearance is as imposing as it is because he used to be a professional wrestler.

Also, since you are a rock/metal chick I would suggest Ashes. Most of Tom's music has a bit of rock embedded with in it, that track is 100% rock while he raps over it.

Love your observation about how much Tom draws you into the lyrics. I feel the same way; I usually focus way more on the instrumental elements of music, but Tom is the only artist who makes me focus on the words instead (not to undersell the other parts of his music, but the lyrics are next level)

Yes Tom MacDonald is known as Mr Controversial but like you said, somebody had to say it. He has other songs that aren’t political. He got himself sober off alcohol and cigarettes too. He and his girlfriend do all the work. Completely independent from start to finish.
