It is an eating disorder where someone is afraid of gaining weight. They are so focused on not gaining weight and sometimes choose to not eat because of the pounds they would put on. (I don't really know how to explain it/it's hard to explain, sorry)
I used to be cus I did figure skating and when I hit puberty and got taller I got a little heavier like anyone would and during a lift my partner told me I was getting heavier so yah
@@braylin2cool4uso sorry-I didn’t even mean to stumble across this but I’ve had an ED for 20 years now and have watched every single show and movie that have talked about it or a character has dealt with it… This is from “Red Band Society” where all the kids are in the hospital for different reasons (like Leo she’s talking to has cancer, another patient has CF, she has Ana, etc.). Ciara Bravo, the actress who plays Emma in Red Band Society, was also in “To The Bone” with Lily Collins. I just remember when I was watching “To The Bone” I was like “umm it’s Emma?” But sorry again for the randomness. I’ve watched Sandlot; too. But this is absolutely from Red Band Society.
