I agree, events these days is more like who has the best tricks, best power and everything. This is why I miss oldschool. Oldschool back then is just simple, rocking, footwork on the block, that street vibe is still there. Now, its kinda like they no longer dance like from the soul these days, it's more of to appealing the judges. If you do see new bboys rising up these days, you see them are trained not for like soul, but for on how to win the judges so that they can win the battle. I still respect their effort to win tho because it's their 9 to 5. Its just sucks that how breaking has become this way.
