to those who don't know her, she is Son Seung Yeun the first ever winner of The Voice Korea.. she was a regular member of Immortal Songs: Singing the Legends from 2013-2018 where she competed with established famous solo/duo/group vocalists in South Korea such as Gummy, Ailee, and the list goes on (I don't have to list everyone because all of you don't know them). She's quite famous but I think she has fewer engagements at the moment because she might be focusing on her studies or yet her previous contract from her previous agency had expired. Her recent engagement that I know was in 2021 where she played Elphaba in the musical Wicked 2021 South Korean Version.

I’m only thirty seconds in and I already have teary eyes. I love this song more than anything else, it’s truly beautiful, when I heard her singing I immediately had Jonghyuns expression in front of my eyes, I wish he was here so he could watch this too :) I miss him. And the way she hit the high notes: truly amazing! I have goosebumps all over my body! Covers are always hard to do because people already expect you to be as good as the original singer but she was beyond perfect!

Son SeungYon, I give her mad props for singing this song, Jonghyun's first solo song...I don't think anyone has been brave enough to publicly sing his songs like this yet. It's still hard and they might break down while singing but she did great justice with this one. It suited her so well and in it she was able to show not only the strength of her vocals but the strength of Jonghyun's vocals as well for a song with such emotional notes. I hope to see more covers like this soon. Mad respect and I feel extremely thankful for this performance. Thank you.

I watched this performance, IN A DUET. My mind AUTOMATICALLY PLAYED JONGHYUN’S PERFORMANCE, the way he sang it and all, And it became like I am listening to a duet between them. Her voice and the emotion is so good.

If I'm not mistaken when she says Haeya she is referring to a girl. Mad respect for not changing the pronouns to respect how jonghyun and Alejandro sang the song.

I have no idea who she is, but if she can tackle this song and make it her own (which she did), I'm willing to listen to whatever she has to offer. Covers are always difficult because they're constantly compared to the original. For me, there's the original, Jonghyun's initial cover, then hers. I loved all three for different reasons.
