It's nice to see the pass recordings of Yuzuru Hanyu. I've always known Yuzu is tough in the inside although he looks cute. But seeing him fell and got up again and fell again repetitively definitely helps me appreciate his hard work even more.
Already young girl fans asking autographs from (big brother Yüzü , (onechan desu ne) 🥰🥰🥰 already popular among young skaters💓💓💓 Coach Nanami is pretty too❣️❣️
Yuzuru may look soft but man this kid is pretty tough! i may not understood a thing in this video but this makes me emotional, all the hard work, the pain, the challenges, his sheer determination and unwavering spirit, he is not afraid of anything, he deserves to be where and what he is right now, im proud as a fan 😢💖✨💪
Yuzuru, you were so cute, weren't you? You have transformed yourself dramatically in a four years. You changed your body, face, skating skills etc...You have been getting much stronger, more handsome...I don't know what to do...
Very interesting vid, I'm a big Yuzu fan but unfortunately I don't understand Japanese :( His falls on the jumps must have really hurt it looks so painful ...
+Isi way ice is really hard and it does hurt, even when falling from small jumps, let alone when there is such strength behind larger jumps. even falling like that like dancers do on wood floors hurts a lot, but on Ice it can feel 10x worse....
I may be nerding out for saying this, but, when he askes the girl what day it is, she responds, July,13th. In his favorite movie (well, one of his), The girl who lept through time, The beginning of the movie, the date is July 13. xD
Didn't expect I'd stumble over this video and get stomach ache. (-_-') It's incredibly violent. Because he has no mercy with himself. As he said in a recent interview, his past self was incredibly strict/harsh. He still has that edge, but gladly he seems to have become a little gentler. Lerning the hard way. I wonder why security was no question. I mean, there's means to secure skaters when they practice jumping, as far as I'm concerned. Are they problematic in some way? Because I wonder why you would not make use of them at such an early stage when there's falls over falls and they were still about to figure out how to make it work. He's all beaten up. What merit does it have to have a skater full of bruises (at best) or worse? (T^T) At this point (he's currently injured), I personally cannot say the outcome excuses the means. Regardless of his beauty on the ice, with a background like this, it spoils the beauty the moment you scratch at the surface and reveal the suffering that it took.
I agree. It was rather heart-breaking to watch. Perhaps those secure measures weren't available to him? I pray that he doesn't suffer in later years as a result. I also hope that he doesn't try to achieve more difficult jumps that could injure him. Would love to enjoy his artistry for many years to come...even when he retires from active competition... A one of a kind artistic genius
Sadly this is the reality of life for a figure skater! They do practice with a harness which softens the falls but ultimately you will hit the ice 1000 times before you master a jump. When I was training it was also common to wear butt, thigh and knee pads - though they did spoil your line, and in Hanyu’s case, they may affect his aerodynamics. I remember when I was training as a teenager, my body was black and blue with bruises and I wasn’t even close to Hanyu’s level. It’s a gruelling sport, and dangerous.
