please don't stop doing this kind of tutorial. I am soooooooooooooooooooooo thankful for you. Even with a paid tutorial, they might not cover everything. Everybody have a slight diff working methods and i enjoy watching every single one. Thank you thank you thank you godblesss yaaaaaaa. sub...scribeeedddddd
You did an amazing work, words are powerless to express my gratitude! I've been searching for a tutorial like this for such a loooong time! Well, now I'm subscribed and the notifications are on.
QKnow Design Quick question, if i wanted to add a deformation to this project how would I do it? I tried adding a deformation on a new face mesh under face tracker but it isn’t showing up.
Hello, A very nice and easy explaination for this filter kudos! Also I am facing a problem in the kira part, whenever I chose the sparkle.png and link the kira to diffuse it my spark ar studio closes. Any solutions?
Thank you for the tut! I have a question though: do you know anyway of creating a plane (or rectangle, idk) with the camera texture that follows the mouth?
Thank you, awesome instructions, quick question because I am unable to figure it out, whenever I add in the facemesh below the canvas with the rectangles it ends up being located behind the rectangles in the 3d space and therefor not visible, in your video the dropped facemesh sits right in front where it should be, do you have any idea what might cause my error, thanks again.
Sorry, just read that you mentioned it in a previous reply, under the 'Advanced Render Options' of the seg material, the 'Write to Depth' needs to be disabled, problem solved, I will keep this monologue convo online in case someone is stuck like me, jeje

Hi, thank you very much for the tutorial. I don't have the "texture extraction" option on my Spark AR. I'm using version 93, is that the problem? Can I find it anyway on my version or the only way to solve it is with a newer one? Thanks a lot!
@@QKnowDesign heyy , so i made a filter w a help of your tutorial but I think I messed up as there is a weird bluish line coming when on the face . Could you please tell me how to fix that . The name of the filter is y2knew
hey thank you for the tutorial! I’ve been already working on a make up filter. When I try to add these features into that project(like i wanted to add animated background), the rectangles just cover the makeup filter and creates a new layer on top of it like a new camera. Do you have any suggestions?:)
(Capabilities not supported by some device) I got this on Spark ar hub and when I checked link then just my face detecting , not body, eyes and mouth , what I should now?
Hey I've been following this tutorial right up to the step where you added the face mesh, for some reason, my background canvas isn't see through like yours, so I've been unable to make the smoothing show up on the skin, even when I rearranged the layers (Face Mesh layer 1, canvas layer 0). The face mesh shows up only when I make the background canvas invisible. When the bg canvas is visible my face mesh looks like it's "behind" the entire canvas! Any tips?
Face lut texture what do you connect exactly? Input is your lut texture and the face tracker texture. Output material texture. My tutorial about the colorlutshader might more specific. You find the tutorial in my Chanel.
I just made my filter with following this video but when ı try the filter on my phone seems just one face and the background nothing more. Please help me.
Hi! My y2k filter has a transparent background and now the retouch is visible but the LUT is only visible on the face. How do I make the LUT also appear on the transparent BG animation?
Hello. I was watching and trying to make a filter of my own but I couldnt see how and when you added Facetracker in Assets. Please reply if anyone can help, Im trying to make cool filters
Go to scene > face tracker in the inspector than face tracker texture +. Or if you mean the face tracker in the scene, just add a face mesh to the scene
Heya ....I have been following your steps and made one, but it is taking so much time to compress, is that normal or I have done something wrong, pls reply
@@QKnowDesign so, the textures were too big for the file, it wasnt fit for iOS and Android, but later I managed to find the manual compression tool, and it got done. Also, I have submitted my filter and it's in review. Thank you for the tutorial. (Thanks for the reply tho, I did it)

This applies to the following materials: bg_animation, line_mat, seg_mat. Select one by one and in the right sidebar open "Advanced Render Options", make sure the "Write to Depth" option is unchecked. That should fix the Facemesh issues.
Here is a more detailed video about deformation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4yzLNFqUOmI.html It might give you a more profound understanding of the deformation patch. I'm not quite sure, but I think if you just add your background and person segmentation the deformation of your face mesh would be a problem. Just watch this tutorial to learn more.
Yeah, the sparkles didn't work, so I had to delete the patch and connect it again. The cut is not so good. I just added the sparkle png in the first input of the simple kira patch. Just add the sparkle to your texture, and then it should appear in the dropdown menu in your simple kira patch. Does that help?
@@QKnowDesign no. i mean he's explaining well but doesn't really tech how to convert those shaders... if somebody can create a mini app or script that's somehow be able to convert shadertoy shaders to sparksl, we can do lots and lots of exotic things... i mean imagine how many effects can you make with them... it's a open door to a new world.
