काश आँखों को यह हुनर होता कि गायन को ध्यानपूर्वक सुनते हुए आँखें व्यवधान उत्पन्न न करतीं । परंतु आँखें हैं तो स्निति मिश्र को सुनते हुए देख पा रहा हूँ । तानपुरा की तारों पर राग के अनुरूप उँगलियों को फिराने की ध्यानपूर्वक यात्रा, स्निति की आँखों का बंद होना और खुलता सब मिलाकर ख़ूबसूरत नज़ारा बनते हैं ।

The gist of this song is : The musical notes in this building are now ancient. They are rather devotional and boring must be replaced by new notes and 'Taranas'. Let the brightness of new music enter this place while the old one disappear far off in distance.
