ive noticed something about all "the reactors on youtube" when it comes to this movie or series. yall really instinctually believe humans arent stronger than mutants, the humans are the ones who gifted them with life(aparts from the gods the eternals" who started this fiestgo) and choose to mask their appearance amongst the rest of society, bruh what is wrong with yall.. the mutation registry act wasn't to protect the humans it was to give the mutants more leeway and better chance(it was to allow them to walk amongst the human/mutation laws freely(but this doesnt happen until around 1980s) yes magneto is warmongering bag of turds but ill get into that later.. humans are dangerous from their looks to their livelyhoods being threaten, look at what we continue to do,pillage and destroy, what did that one human once said "victory at all cost." who was that churchill? anyways.. this is part of the dark phoenix arc(but these millionaires in irl are the ones pulling the strings in these movies,apart from the high caliber actors/directors/writers) this movie was c at best(there was a lot and it was twisted storyline.. i dont know why, the fanbase is still watch these things.. they wont ever give us the real comic movies) and yes,xavier was protecting himself definitely a very much real threat/ a child who had lost her mom(in fact killed her)and jean shouldve gotten the truth from the start(xavier out here being cersei from game of thrones, yeah imma say this lol) xavier is literally cersei on some many levels magneto is living his best life,until jean brings her troubles to his door(the guy isnt stupid, he knows something is amiss) his war veteran a survivor of the most vicious recent concentration camp imaginable. he knows what it genuinely takes to survive and hes lost more from tyrannical mutants than anyone else(he knows about being buried under the foothold of oppressed and hes not going to allow humans to dominant him either, hell bend the knee but will never succumb to them.. beast i feel for that guy, hes one the most emotionally driven yet still keeps his composure. him being smart is under shooting what he can truyly do. same with storm, by the way shes now a psychic weather manipulation witch, thats the fans have placed her under recently,and shes yet to cut loose her full potential. cyclops, poor fellow jean is his first real friend and love interest, and hes the bad boy too(unlike logan) mystiques death seems so anti-climatic" like they were really pushing narrative to watch it unravel at the seams(trifecta of xavier/beast/magneto was exploding in this arc but it allowed them to come together) the ird were the men/women charted to bag and tag the mutants seen in this movie(the animated 1990s series of xmen explains it alot "political/spirtual/ethnics included and xmen evolution gives a slight different version of it. this was the control both the viligante/dangerous and any unregistered mutants/gain their abilities and weakness. it also future helped with "days of future past." sentient program(unbeknowest to both humans/mutants)

You need to understand, neither this one nor X3 did the Phoenix story any justice. Anyone who read the original comic books by Chris Claremont & John Byrne is gonna hate.

Nah a lot of people never read comics . the movie does not stand up well even when judged on its own for enough people . Neither did Apocalypse

@@ZarathosDaimaoh agreed, but they have little to no reference points to know what is the proper versions of the character which is why they cant compare. Nothing they watched so far pre deadpool had any accuracy to the quintessential characters. I dont expect them to have the perspective of someone who has deep knowledge of these characters.

Idk alot people did read the comics and even more people at least watch the 90 cartoon which also did a decent job with the Phoenix story arc

@@Boibluu in the last stand, the Phoenix was a part of Jean's mind. At least this movie hinted that it was an alien power. So this is a more faithful adaptation thus better.

Im in a similar boat never read the comics personally but loved the X-Men cartoon and know enough about the comics to Know while the X-Men the last stand and dark phoenix are not bad movies but to anyone who knows the Phoenix story from the comics or even the cartoon which did a decent job can say without a doubt that both the movies were hollow attempts at giving us the story fans wanted...

I think what hurts even more is that I feel like so many other shows, or at least a fair number of them, have shown special effects that would SO EASILY have been repurposed to show an actually GOOD set of Phoenix VFX. How can fox NOT get it right 2 different times?

I love how you were like the comic books are important at all to me. They may not be important to you but how in the world would they have made the movie if the comic books didn't exist. The source material comes from the comic books. That is the actual storyline you like. So everything you just said does not make any sense. The people that were upset just wanted them to execute it. People have read these comic books for decades and would love to see a movie adaptation. So when it's not done very well, it makes some people upset because it's one of their favorite comic books and they were looking forward to it. I love how you talked about having the right to have their own opinion but people being upset don't have the right to have their own opinion. you're a hypocrite and you know the source material so you don't get to say how someone gets the feel.

The story is just too convoluted. I think it failed in the comic book medium too. Comic book fans just have no standards, until someone adapts then they have standards.

Plus, the most powerful mutant is Franklin Richards. He's the one who could do all of that with his eyes closed. When the universe ends, it's only going to be him and Galactus left, and he's the one who actually brings in the new universe. So please leave some sources of what comic book you're reading. I can leave you sources for some fantastic four even X-Men. To prove that I'm right, but I don't know where in any comic book you can prove that you are. 🤣

Alpha and Omega, life and death, destruction and creation, the beginning and the end. I've never understood the whole yin yang because the Phoenix Force doesn't represent just order.

Haha you gotta watch the OG X-Men cartoon to actually see 90's rouge but X-Men 97 is amazing even if you haven't seen the original series I think it explains enough to just hope in but personally I had to rewatch the original series so before starting it ...

Yea I rewatched a little just for fun, if nothing else the opening two episodes give you the vibe... Morph's history and also Mister Sinister's history is potentially the biggest plot point a new watcher would want to know more about since it's a little complicated, but they did a good job of making it accessible to new viewers I thought@@maxvickrey4357

Yeah Rogue with her correct power abilities in the cartoons. The series had good voice acting and followed along with some of the comics story lines to the best of their abilities

you should check out spider man 1 and 2 from the same time the fox men movies came out.

@@krono5el Spider-Man came out in 2002, X-Men came out in 2000. So at the time there was nothing else like it out there. Except for Blade.

It's still a pretty good movie though.

Thats not true actually. First of all in the comics the classification goes with the letters of the Greek Alphabet so we have Beta level, Alpha Level etc, with Omega being the strongest and alpha second etc. Jean was the first to be classified as an Omega level mutant and it had nothing to do with the Phoenix Force. With the inclusion of the Phoenix shes like way above the average "human" (or mutant etc) hero levels. As years went on more and more mutants started being Identified as "Omega" some for feats theyve already shown, and others for their potential. Generally while it used to be something they first used to distinctly separate her from everyone else thats not the case anymore and its a classification for the very strong ones.

@@phoenix1985gr IM NOT saying youre lying but due to her low powerlevels i find it hard to believe shes always been omega level in comics. shes historically been weak as hell in comics outside being the pheonix and always used to passout from using her powers and always got overpowered. she only spiked in popularity after they amped her up and made her pheonix. she used to be a b tier mutant

@@maxvickrey4357 well, Wolverine and Mystique. Those two characters became the focal points of movies simply because Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Lawrence were hot names in Hollywood at the time, and FOX wanted those actors featured prominently to draw audiences.

And I think there were tons of reshoots because it was too similar to captain marvel

she didn't have the phoenix in Apocolypse, that was own power. They shouldn't have used a bird form tho.

It was still a pretty good version of the story, better than the previous attempt.
