If any singer is ever considered to be the most soft and descent and so clam in singing, he must be Pankaj Sir. His melodious voice will always be so deep in the heart of his fan. I think no one had ever seen his angry face rather he was always found to be so soft like his innocent face that we used to have in his innocent singing. Love you Sir. You were the first and last and after you, no one will come in the history of India who will be having such a soft voice that can make anyone cry.
It's not just romantic memories, this Ghazal reminds me of all the good memories of my childhood, my old home (now a multistoried building), our family, my dead father, my school days, and my old friends. This is incredible.
Can someone please help me with the full meaning of this ghazal. I could get some from here and there. Most unfortunate i have little command in Hindi.
Pankaj ji you are making me Crying again and again whenever l am hearing this song. Memories of my little brother who had lost years before in a boat mishap during a terrible monsoon periode. Now it rains again my eyes and my heart is melting. " Yadon Ka ik ,Jhonka aya ,humse milne, barson bad....."
I was heard this song when I was in my teens and I never stopped singing it in my head even if I don't understand the language, the best Indian song I've ever heard.
still listening this legends vocal which i listened 35 years ago. It's take back my passed away memories to my real life hero one and only my dad....miss my daddy now and till my last breath.
This is how a desolate soul feels when one's near and dear ones settle in such far off places that the reunion becomes a distant possibility. Only those fond memories of those happy days spent together remain with oneself.
19 Aug 2022 First played in 1994 at the age of 4 from his album Shagufta's audio cassette which I lost. Then bought the same Album back in 2005 jus for this single piece of Mumtaz Rashid Sb and the magical voice of Pankaj Udhas.
This ghazal is endless , will soften your heart time and again, boso ke baad hamesha ke liye..it struck my heart the very moment I heard it borso ke pahele in the 90s ..❤
This song from his album Shagufta, which is more than 25 years old. I remember clearly buying this four in one cassette album those days. Every single word in this Ghazal brings back memories of those days and evokes a lot of emotions. Memories of a happy and wonderful family of four of my younger bachelor days of which I am left alone today. The first line makes more sense with every passing day
Pankaj's voice is the embodiment of multitude of unleashed emotions ...his voice lets us unwind and cry out our emotions for a person, for a place and or for the bygone time!!!!
