yall they dont make hundreds of thousands a year. It very much depends on the contract. If it is for the season or for a couple of months and where they are. It is also a job where they may get very little sleep as they may be up until 2am with the guests and then up at 6am to start prepping for bfast and cleaning.
Somebody get this girl a sew In or a wig please 😢 it was Making me uncomfortable watching her uncomfortably fiddle with her hair tryna make sure it's in place even though she seems very comfortable with the other person. Atleast yall edited the preview pic for the video. Her actual hair just kept getting worse and worse thru the video
As neat as this was, they could have picked literally ANY other 2 people. Tumi has a lot to learn before being Chief Stew and Kyle has literally been the biggest piece of shit this season. Below Deck made a big mistake with inviting him back, hopefully they don't continue making the same mistakes.
I tend to not watch the “celebrity” truth or drink episodes because I have never seen any of the shows, but I’m going to start now because these two were lovely and I didn’t even need to know anything about the show!
@@oliviagarder2929 No they were both Second Stews but in different seasons of the show, I don't remember which season she was in but Kyle was on the most recent Below Deck Med.
They’re definitely not hanging out. They work really hard. I have a feeling they don’t get very good sleep either cause you always have people having to get up or going to bed at all hours. They’re basically the guest’s bitches the entire time the guests are on the boat. I feel the worst for the chef cause they have to cook for crew and guests with few breaks. I hope the chef makes good money cause they deserve it!
this is what i was wondering too. someone else was saying, it’s a seasonal job with high physical and emotional demand, meaning they could get paid a lot in one month but only work a couple months out of the year ???
@@oliveranderson7264 yeah. I was thinking that too. I doubt they're quoting North American dollars. Could be 32,000 rand as you mentioned (about $1,800 USD if I did my math right).
When I first saw the title of this video I was thinking why would they make a video with people who work below deck on a yacht. Like that is so random. Then I watched it and realized Below Deck was the name of the show. Never heard of the show never heard of these people
I am South African and I do not know who these people are. Tumi can't utter a sentence without cursing, it is so crass - not all South Africans are this common.
No, they make $1,300 and $3,200 monthly. So about 15k and 40k a year. While on the boat they don’t have to pay for rent/ food. They get free alcohol, entrance to clubs, and get to travel to different countries. So that 15 and 40k definitely does stretch further than it would for the average person but they certainly do not make more than 100k a year.
