yaelokre quite literally improved my life i've been exploring my local forest and dancing around because of the music and i've gotten so much healthier thanks to it lmao i really do owe them huh
For some reason these songs just make me want to run away into a forest and start making fairy circles with my friends and just dance, draw, listen to music, explore, etc. I just sorta want to run away from reality yk? Like I know it’s sorta dumb but I would love to live in the forest in a cottage. Picking strawberries, looking at birds and other animals. Just align with nature.
fun fact! during "neath the grove is a heart" (around 4:53 when the vocals are over) you can hear harpy hare!! im pretty sure its the part where clemmie sings "harpy hare, where have you buried all your children?"
And at 4:11 theres the "ah ah aah" from harpie hare, the melody plays at 8:26 as well, and throughout the rest of hartebeest but it's very subtle The vocals at 4:25 sounds very similar to 8:41 but I might be reaching a bit there 😅

@@Girlfailyer No, I get it! From what we've seen, Kingsley is a very non-serious, laid-back, extroverted, funny character. That's a type of character I love from my media. Cole is a shy, scared, but wants to get their message across with music. Clementine seems like the sweet, calm mother/father figure. While Perrine looks strict, and wants to do things a certain way. From what I've gathered, people generally like a character like Kingsley for their charm and wit. But yeah, these characters are really well written and I can't wait for more insight on all of them!!

no no listen LISTEN if you were a fan of Undertale (and Deltarune) music before you understand the absolute JOY I get from seeing yaelokre using the same method of hiding small tunes of their songs in other ones. it makes you feel like you're familiar with this song. like it's just the continuation of the story you've heard thousands of times. it suddenly stops being a melody you *might* like and turns into just another part of the song-story you're obsessed about.
There is actually a musical term for that! It's called a 'leitmotif' and its probably my personal favorite things about video game music and storytelling in music
If u listen closely, the guitar on Neath the grove is a heart kinda sounds like a slowed down version of the guitar from Harpy Hare, but I might just be getting crazy, lol
