I also had to change the Step setting to 5kHz in order to be able to select 145.990, it would only select 145.8750 by default.

Great tutorial on how to make this work with an FT65 - but I wouldn't recommend this radio for a beginner that's wanting to work satellites. A full duplex radio is best so that you can hear yourself coming back from the satellite. I often hear people calling and stepping on others during QSOs, and I think that's because they can't hear themselves / any one else, and don't realize they're interfering. Unfortunately a full duplex radio is much more expensive than the FT65 so it may be out of reach for people new to the hobby.

Can you PLEASE do one for the FT-60? I'm completely lost
