Well, population density of Iceland would be around 1000 people per square km so it is ok, you won't die, no worry... Bangladesh, Malta, Monaco, Maldives, Bermuda, Java Island etc. have such density of population and most of them are rich, as well most cities have such density so it is not problem
Well, Siberians don't starve... As well, neither do Swedes, Eskimoes and Norwegians, but I don't really know if there is enough food for 100 million people on 100000 km2 island, especially on the "ice land" where most of island is under ice, meaning people will live mostly on the west coast of Iceland where are Reykjavik and other cities and density there would be huge, more like big Manila or big Dhaka...
