I know i'm late but did anyone notice how in the cutscene, Kuze is still mad, angered of the fightscene where Kiryu wins again, while Awano is trying to shoot down the car currently getting away, and Shibusawa does nothing knowing Tachibana will fail in the long run? This game loves showing Kuze as the yakuza of the past, Awano as the yakuza of the present, and Shibusawa as the yakuza of the future
i'm watching kuze fights rn and you gotta hand it to him, like people praise him for being persistent but it's easy to forget he continues to come at kiryu through a lost finger, falling off a motorcycle at top speed, being hit by a car going at speed, and suffering heavy beatings with each of those events, despite even just going through one of any of the things i just mentioned being enough to hospitalise a normal person
Anyone notice that Kuze's outfit and shoes are almost the same as the one Kiryu would eventually wear in Yakuza 3 and 4? Or maybe its the same??? Man i forgot so many things abt Yakuza.....
It's practically Kiryu's suit except a lighter shade of gray with the Dojima Family pin on it. Obviously the undershirt is different color with Kiryu's being a tone of red and Kuze's being white..
Late but Kuze’s quick boxing attacks are pretty much exactly Rush style, Awano’s strong but wild swings are Beast, and Shibusawa uses Rush and Beast, before ending with Brawler
Harry Guidotti well he keeps it interesting. plus he was disgraced and wanted revenge. it's weapons free world so why not. just makes Kiryu look more awesome. plus he's a recurring villian.... so it makes it interesting when he has weapons. he fought him 3 times without weapons. so no dishonour
What I want for Yakuza Kiwami 3 (since 2 is done already) Hidden Substory You have to max out Kiryu’s stats and abilities (all the stuff you have to do in the others for Amon) Kiryu gets a phone call from Haruka. She sounds terrified. “Uncle Kaz...” “Haruka-chan? What’s wrong?” “You need to come, quick. He says-“ “Haruka? Haruka!!” “Oi...Kiryu. How’s it going, kid?” “(That voice)...Who is this? If you’ve hurt Haruka, I swear!” “Relax. I haven’t...yet. But if you wanna keep it that way, come to (insert location for a nice battle). Right now.” You haul ass there. Soon as you arrive, Haruka comes running to you. Kiryu hugs her. Looks up...there’s Kuze, out of prison. He tells Haruka to get the hell out of there. Cue a conversation about Kuze being a dick for kidnapping a civilian. Kuze retorts that he’s true Yakuza and never planned to hurt her but knew Kiryu would come running. He’s been itching to get revenge on him ever since he got locked up. Kuze lifts his fists. “This is where it ends, Kuze....” “My sentiments exactly. Let’s go...KIIIIRYUUUUUU!” Cue “Pledge of Demon” and one final series fight against Daisaku Kuze. He’s got max health, still nimble for his age and hits like a tank.
That would be amazing! Only problem is Kuze might be in his presumed sixties or seventies by Yakuza 3... Oh well. Age didn't stop that one dude from locking up with a goddamn BULL! Let's see this happen! EDIT: I think it should have it's own QTE and segways into "Oath of Enma" during the second half.
Seeing the bastard get run over is genuinely the funniest shit I've ever seen in a video game, hopefully Sagawa also gets the same treatment, if not worse
I don't get how enemies in your game don't immediately spam attacks and stun lock you same with the sword wielding ones. I try everything but they out fight me every time.
