It baffles me that Kiryu still wants anything to do with the Yakuza in general. Pretty much everything about them goes against his core beliefs and principles
For those that were stressing about the timer, it’s not a timer till game over. It just makes more enemies come in as reinforcements if the timer runs out, so if you’re skilled enough to knock out everyone, you’ll be able to get to the next section of the fight without having to deal with reinforcements.
I took it a step further. Instead of just waiting until I get the Legend Style, I went ahead and got the Golden Pistol. Even on Legend, that thing is a complete BEAST!
Doing this without learning more than the basic moves for each style was a pain in the ass. Kinda regretted it but eh was fun being in high stress mode all the time.
Why is it in this video they all politely wait for you to finish your combo on their friend, but in my game they all attack at once? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I can only conclude that my shit is bugged in some way.
I know people see Majima as the main character of the series (he's entertaining, smooth and a total badass), but Kiryu is the same, just in a stoic and humble sorta way
@@matukite2459 Uh have you even played past 0? Majima is a major point of the plot of all the games. Kiwami: He's LITERALLY EVERYWHERE waiting to challenge Kiryu to a fight and acts as a guidepost for Kiryu's Dragon of Dojima style. Kiwami 2: He's the head of Majima Construction, Kiryu's superior in the Clan Creator segments, and the MC of his own campaign. 3: He makes sporadic appearances since it mostly takes place outside of Kamurocho. 4. He's a central figure in Taiga Saejima's storyline. 5. Still involved with Saejima and helps save Haruka from Kurosawa. 6. He and Saejima are Daigo Dojima's bodyguards. Like a Dragon: He and Saejima are literally bosses that Ichiban's party faces and he can called to assist in battles (and thb it is the most Naruto of all the Poundmate attacks).
@@deathbykonami5487 Yakuza fanboy spotted, Majima wasnt even thing in the original Yakuza, they added him post production with remakes and spin off due to popularity, plus if Yakuza 0 happened without Majima nothing would have changed, as story mainly evolves about Empty lot that Kiryu is framed for.
@@ExtremeMan10 What the hell are you talking about? Majima was in the original Yakuza. He was the one voiced by Mark Hamill in the original PS2 game. Don't spout bullshit unless you know what the fuck you're talking about.
I know I'm late, but it's most likely one of the unreleased tracks (I know that some time ago you could find those by searching "Yakuza 0 unreleased ost", but as of now I'm not sure, since some of it I know has been deleted off youtube)
Even unupgraded Kiryu is too high for them. This is a hard task (I defeat all 4 back-ups, because I unable to finish them in time). Yakuza's have much HP on hard and Kiryu deal too low damage. I executed almost every available Heat action.
No, they bring in a wave of reinforcements. That wave can also ask for reinforcements, but I've never seen it go beyond two. The last one tends to have a miniboss, though.
@@djoshawott2850 If you whittle down the first group, the second group doesn't have to get you. It took a painful number of recovery items, but my (admittedly first) playthrough on hard did pretty well considering the numbers.
I never died in this section, but I might’ve done Normal, myself. So I don’t know how strict the checkpoints are in this battle. (Legend is... well, have fun.)
Did my first playthrough on hard, didnt have too much trouble though the timer did wind down to 0 once or twice and it was a pain to fight the giant mob that amasses
I still dont get it, everytime they manage to hit me with 2 dudes at the same time, i cant do anything in all cases even tho i put it in easy mode, its nonsense
do the early combo finishers in brawler style, use heatmoves as oftenten as u can, take care of pissed off enemys first and try to evade hits and than go for counters while not being surounded (enemys tend to attack immediatly after you get up so be aware of that). thats about all beginer tips for kiryu I got so do that until you develop a feel for the combat (enemys get more agresive the further you progress so learning how to dodge properly when to block, when to use certain moves or go for a full combo, proper style switching and good positioning is key if you dont want to waste all you healing items) hope I could help you with this.
@@AlexZeroThree i try bro but even when i spam the dodge button they still hit me and group up and i cant so anything, plus i dont have any counter ability so idk how to get it or get more money to power up. But thank you very much for explaining all of this
@@brrruno4047 the dodge has a recovery at the end so you cant sapam it wich also leaves you open during the end and when it comes to being up against a wall without anything... yea thats bad the only thing you can realy do is hammer the rush style button and pray (the triple dodge takes away your heat however it doesnt need heat to be performed). They thankfully fixed that in kiwami where you can instant style switch during certain animations including geting up from the ground. its also noteworthy that I had the same problem for a long time so belive me when I say: hang in there you will adapt to it
You probably figured this out by now, but the item you get from the early band sidequest makes the AI go absolutely ballistic. It's a huge trap and almost put me off the rest of the game.
