@@Vocaloid_Miku Komaki parry is good but I thought the counter in this game was kinda OP. The timing was easier than tiger drop in other games and it dealt way too much damage
Yo those first phase strats rad AF, I would of definitely prefered to do brawler combos on his back instead of bear hugs, good selection of heat actions too! The recording freezes in the middle of the second phase though, a bit weird.
Hey, thank you for your comment. This tactic for the first phase is pretty efficient for any boss when you're playing with critical health, because your heat will constantly get replenished slowly. About the frame drops, I know, I pinned a comment talking about those. But I'm almost positive it was the recording software, not Sony Vegas, and surely not my PC. If you'd like to watch the 2nd version with even more heat actions, full health and thankfully no frame drops, I uploaded it shortly after this one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SxqEkfY0jUA.html
Idk what you mean by super armor, but I didn't use any equipment other than Quickchange Clothes. The way I didn't take damage during the helicopter part was that I chased the invincibility potions the helicopter drops. When you take it, you're invincible for 10-15 seconds then you have to take it again.
@@GUNKSHOTT "Super Armor" is a fighting game term that's used to describe the mechanic where despite an attack clearly landing on your character, and causing a 'freeze' on your screen to confirm the hit, your character's attack animation is not cancelled. Since Yakuza is a beat'em up, there's a lot of fighting game style mechanics utilized in Yakuza that fighting game players can use to get an upper hand in fights, like hit-stun, movement cancelling, Super Armor, etc. etc.
I really wish I could've been a fly on the wall when Amon set up his plan B with the chopper crew. More specifically, I'd love to hear the conversation that led to patio furniture being the shit they dropped into the arena.
Goodness, you destroyed the man. How many attempts did you need for that? What I find the most impressive is that you do all this with mouse and keyboard. I usually need to play with a gamepad.
Thank you for your comment. It took maybe 10-20 runs because I always go for style more than safety in my videos, which a lot of times causes me to get punished. And yeah, everyone says that, about the keyboard & mouse. I didn't own a gamepad when I first started playing Yakuza, therefore I had to get used to my keyboard & mouse. In order to have a smooth gameplay with kb & m, you need to make a custom control configuration. The game automatically gives you a decent, somewhat shitty config at the beginning, so you have to edit it the way your fingers don't break. But it's not as difficult as everybody thinks.
That's a much cooler looking strat than what I did in the first phase. I just used rush to get my heat up and beast when I had it at the third bar because fully upgraded beast on the 3rd bar is completely unbreakable in the middle of an attack chain
How many times you leveled the legend style before you fought So? I just finished the game with legend and i had legend style leveled up to 3 so it was kinda walk in a park so im kinda curious to fight So in legend too.
What's the idea behind going into the pause menu? and how come you have the Dragon/Legend style? I've completed the game on normal but still only have access to three styles with both guys
Complete the real estate questline for Kiryu and the cabaret questline for Majima and you'll earn their "legend" styles that you then activate by going into the pause menu and activating it there
It's not a frame. He's just constantly keeping Amon on the ground so he can easily pick up the invincibility potion that the helicopter constantly drops (Amon did manage to get one)
I've never seen the So Amon fight so the cannon was a suprise yeah, the "cannon" was a suprise my man built a fucking laser pointer for his courage the cowardly cat
@@Knague I might be a little late, but if you check on the upgrade menu, you should be able to look at a list of abilities/heat actions and how to use them
@@chubokuway I sometimes read up on heat actions after every ten or so hours of playing the game just to make sure I'm using what I can. Kiryu has a lot
iirc you have to complete all substories of a character to fight an Amon. majima’s for Jo and kiryu’s for So. i think that apart from a trophy and bragging rights there’s no rewards. I wouldn’t know since I’m yet to fight an Amon in any Yakuza game.
@@nyxuehara Most Yakuza games the Amon Clan drop their shades as an equipment item that makes your weapons stronger and then games that aren’t 0 which have EXP, they give you lots of EXP But yeah it’s mostly for the lore and bragging rights fun since the accessory and EXP are unnecessary by the time you fight them LOL
@@DeanRGG it does feel really good though. I was not having the kiwami Jo Amon fight though. Shit sucked. I'm not sure if they're designed terribly on purpose
@@GUNKSHOTT thanks.. also another question? in 0 and Kiwami, what does the Bloody Binding do, ik it inceases heat but in what way? like does it regenerate heat gradually during combat or amplifies heat gain per attack?
I know this is just a game and all, but I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around how Amon doesn't have a single bruise anywhere on his face from all of the smacks in his face
