I Finished this minigame in 2 hours, incredible. The Full straight requires 123, 456 and 789 sets in the same suit and you can make all, some or none of them by stealing tiles to complete them (as open sets to the right of your hand). you then need one more set of three (which you can also make by stealing) plus one matching pair - and you can complete all of these in any order.
- Mangan: For the newcomer to Mah-Jong, Mangan = 5 han
A 'han', for the lack of a better word, is a hurdle or a condition that you fulfill, So if I won with the following hand.
Mangan requires you get at least 2000 points for your hand so refer to Scoring to find out how to make the most of your hand.
- Haneman For the newcomer to MahJong = 6 or 7 han
A 'han', for the lack of a better word, is a hurdle or a condition that you fulfill, So if I won with the following hand.
Haneman requires at least 3000 points. It's rater unlikely to get this one naturally, so it's best to stockpile on dora tiles or to go for slightly tougher yaku if this is all you need.
I Did in this match:
Riichi:
No - Points Hand = Hand that doesn't have any triplets, quads or pairs of dragons, player winds or prevalent winds. Must also be completed by waiting on more than one specific tile. For example a 2-3 waiting on a 1 or 4 would be fine whereas a 1-2 waiting on a 3 would not.
Fully Concealed Hand = )is a hand in which all tiles are self-drawn including the winning tile.
Dora: is a bonus tile that adds han value to a hand. Every kind of tile can become a dora tile. A dora tile adds the same number of han value as the number of its corresponding "dora indicator" tiles. Dora is not counted as yaku, and having it without yaku does not meet the one yaku requirement for a winning hand.
