Theres actually a faster way to get Nishiki out of heat mode. When he goes in it grab him, he will break the grab but lose his heat mode.

I-Frames are weird in this game. It plays the SFX and VFX of a regular hit, but deal no damage or stagger. Tried it myself yesterday. I hate it, but it's better than no I-Frames at all, I guess...
