Heck no forget tsubaki she trying to ruin everything like just no. Tsubaki even had a whole episode on how she ain’t want to date someone like Yamada but she goes and confesses… I’m glad Akane and Yamada are finally dating❤️❤️ these 12 episodes paid off in the end

I kinda feel bad and hurt for Tsubaki, but at least she braved through it and fully accepted it even though she knew she was gonna get turned down. She may have said she doesn't want to date someone like Yamada but ended up confessing -- people's feelings and perspective change when they get to know someone better. Look at Yamada, he's also another example. It's not like he liked Akane from the get go. He was indifferent towards her at first. It can also be that she was just saying that 'cause she finds it hard to admit she actually has feelings for him already -- an all too common scenario in real life where people say they don't like this person but they actually do. Either they're trying to deny it, hide it or don't know how to come to terms with it.

I did feel bad and it was sweet. It takes a lot of courage to confess knowing her feelings would not be reciprocated. She didn't try to ruin anything she wanted closure, acknowledging her love and accepting that it's over and she tried. The all scene was wonderfully made. It's sad for her but she choose not take a risk instead of going for it, and unfortunately love is all about timing and taking a leap of faith.

Well it needed Akane to get Yamada out of his shell in the first place. Yamada rejected every girl out of fear his words or affection could hurt them or get them bullied because they are with him. He would have still rejected Tsubaki even if she would have confessed earlier (i think even Tsubaki knows that). And she is not what Yamada needs (as she is to similar to him) ... it needed an "immature, overemotional girl" like Akane to finaly get Yamada to reflect and get over his past trauma (i think the talk with Akane when he helped her when she was sick was that breakthrough). Tsubaki even tells in the begining of episode 13 when she met Yamada at the bridge that she recognised how Akane changed him. As sad as i am for Tsubaki but it just wasn't meant to be :/. And sadly enough i know that feeling myself only too well.
