I have the Yamaha A-520 amplifier and I used to have a pair of Realistic Mach 2 in the 15 inch driver.( top of the range in optima series. It was a perfect match. I used the Yamaha A-520 as my PA amp for my first wedding! Ooh what a mistake! Not my PA system but my first marriage! Lol. Cheers from Australia
That was my very first "real" amplifier! Bought it as a student back in 1987 (together with a cassette deck K340 and a record player P220 on B&W speakers) and replaced it many years later by an NAD BEE 320. In retrospect, the Yamaha sound felt rather "slim" in contrast to the NAD but I was happy with it for many years.
Greetings I wanted to see if you could help me, the problem is that one of the components exploded, in the circuit board it is indicated as C158, it would be so kind to indicate the values to buy and replace it. I thank you very much in advance
Good Video and thanks for posting, I enjoyed it. I have a Yamaha A-420 which goes very well, I also have a Sony sub woofer which I would like to hookup to it, it has 1 rca input can it be hooked up? as there is no sub output on the amp, Once again thanks for the tutorial
