Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple - Artist Video 

My newly purchased Hybrid maple kit made an AMAZING impression on both my band members and our sound engineer. They're still talking about it!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THESE DRUMS, THANK YOU YAMAHA!!!!!!!!!

I just picked up a vintage early 80's Yamaha Tour Series, predecessor to the Recording Custom, in a natural satin lacquer finish which has just aged beautifully.. I was blown away by the sound..Phenomenal..I'll never resell this kit..

I absolutely love my Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple (in Solid Black). The sizes are: 22x14; 12x8; 16x15. My word - in person the sound is amazing. Stunning sounds, stunning looks, stunning build quality. The YAMH have their own unique character. Next I'm getting a 14x6 YAHM snare and 10x7 tom.

I have a Tour Custom Maple, 10/12/13/16/22, and I love it! But this has recently become my new dream kit, something I don’t say often. I have played for 47 years and before I retire in a couple years, a new AHM in the walnut finish will be mine. It WILL be mine. 😁

@larry I have a Yamaha BCA, & MCAN kits and also regularly play a live custom kit .... recently purchased a PHX 8 mos. ago...not knocking the new hybrid absolute (as I'm sure it's probably a great kit), but if you're gonna upgrade go with the PHX, you won't be disappointed...it's the finest kit I've ever played!
