Jeff DAvid Bolt is a classic bobber style designed by. Yamaha American team. Indeed the outlook is some of features of Harley 883. But the yamaha machine grows by what a bobber should be like and a platform that modification riders love.
Recently got the Baron H-bar as well but never came with hardware even though the seller said they did. I have yet to hear back from them. Question for you, did you get install hardware along with your bar purchase? I suppose it doesnt matter now. Another question, do you know the specific hardware spec used for the bar? Length, thread pitch, etc...? Thanks!
the jackel Thanks. No baffles on that day. Sounds better without them. The baffles distort the sound a little & you end up with a fluff sound when backing off or decelerating.
I just order the Baron H-Bars for my yamaha bolt. Couple of questions, how tall are you? could you provide the link where you bought your mirrors? they look great! Also, did you install your mirrors on the the original grips? Did you have to cut the end of the grips? Thanks in advance.
Daniel Q : congrats! I’m 174. I bought the mirrors off eBay, you will have to buy some bar-end adapters too: www.ebay.com.au/itm/142328216189 Yeah installed with the original grips although had to cut them a little. Easy enough with a sharp razor. Lots of good info on Yamahastarbolt.com forum.
Ed Rifai we're the same height! is the ride noticeably more comfortable with the h baron handlebars? That's the reason I ordered them, for a better riding position.
Daniel Q : I think it’s personal preference. I find them more comfortable. The bike feels really good with them. Slight more upright riding position which suits me well. Narrower profile means better filtering.
I'm 5'6" and am thinking about installing the baron handlebars on my bolt. How do you find the comfort? Was there a reduction in vibration ? Any issues with install?
If that ain't Legal, then I don't know what the 10 inch Tip on mine should be considered, search up a Bolt with NO exhaust or Tip, if you really wanna hear how Wild this bike sounds barebones, spoilers. is fucking loud
Any power differences from a fuel controller alone to ivans reflash alone? I see more hp/tq numbers coming from tuners/fuel controllers. Plus is a lot of money to spend IMO. Thanks
Pibe 87 fuel controller is a waist of money if your looking for power gains alone. ECU Flash is a must & provides lots of benefits including power gains.
Pibe 87 it gets rid annoying exhaust popping & gurgling. Bike feels new after ecu Flash. More responsive, more aggressive. Exhaust sounds smother but still menacing.
louietvm : I bought compatible aftermarket pegs from SS Custom however they don't do them anymore. You should be able to modify the stock ones easily enough if you are handy in the workshop.
Samuel Nunez, it does run a little smoother. A bit better economy too. I wouldn’t do it again though. A lot of money for minor difference. The ECU Flash is all you really need.
Samuel Nunez I felt a slight increase but without dyno results, could be in my head. I plan to run it on the dyno again soon. I’ll post results on RU-vid.
@@cemerinc5625 Hagons are ok. Originally I had 1 inch lift. Very comfortable. I now have Platinum Air Suspension which is adjustable & can adjust the rebound as well. Not cheap.
