Great review Motown!!!and yes after a month of riding around on the Ray ZR,I can definitely confirm that it handles like a dream....even under extreme cornering and harsh braking, this baby feels very... VERY sure-footed!!Yamaha for life!!! cheers!!
@@koonkar I Get around 35-40 kmpl , i kinda crashed it once & there's a slight crack on the left rear panel, that tends to rattle & make noises. There's also some faring noise overall but nothing too major. Engine is still pretty smooth, despite me not getting it serviced very regularly (once every 6 months). Overall it's been pretty reliable with 0 engine issues so far.
i want buy a new yamaha ray zr but what i choose colour i like white n red but not fixed disc i want more information about disc ......white n red buy or not plzz ask i waiting for u
I am going to buy a Scooter.... Yahama ZR or Honda Aviator. Which one do you Recommend. Inside City Mostly and once in a while going on Highway.. Thanks
You call the Ray ZR a Scooty somewhere at 4:23. Scooty is a specific TVS product, and not to be used conveniently to define any gearless scooter or scooterette, as is unfortunately the case, with many Indian customers
Ray zr is a best because it's a great mileage scooter yes in 2023 ray zr street rally also great option because it's gives you a 72+ mileage on highway with a great performance and refined engine
I want to buy a scooter which has to deal with high traffic of Bangalore. I have choices like Honda activa 3g, Honda Dio and Yamaha Ray ZR. Which one I should get?
wat shoud i buy bike or scooter if scoter then why and which one best ..one more thing i m also thking to buy scooter cz i cn get lots of storage but my frnzz tellng me this is for girls not suit to guy so buy a bike not any scooter n due small tyer it will jurk
Scooters are definitely meant for both males and females. Looks are subjective and if you feel that you need a vehicle that is easy to ride and comes with the convenience of storing things then a scooter is definitely the way to go. Regarding the jerks, this scooter provides a very good ride.
Blue Core is just Yamaha's development concept that aims to tune the engine is such a way that it produces maximum power while maintaining fuel efficiency. There is no extra equipment that is there to maintain as such.
Both products come from trusted brads thus both will have a great life. The Honda Dio is slightly cheaper but the Ray ZR provides a little more in terms of the overall riding experience. It comes down to which one of these qualities you are looking for.
Both of them are great options and offer almost similar driving experience. While the Ray-ZR looks better, is more stable, has slightly more under seat storage than the Jupiter and is light weight the Jupiter has some handy features like a parking brake, low fuel indicator, fuel lid placed outside the seat and a charging point for your mobile. So depending on which of these features you like you can decide on either.
Kent R I would suggest Ray ZR coz Aprilia is new in market having very few dealership and authorised service center. Aprilia providing 40 kmpl meanwhile Ray zr gives u 66 kmpl
hey !! My ray ZR is not giving a good mileage. At the beginning it was around 35km/l bht now it varies a lot. sometimes it gives above 40km/l and sometimes between 30to 35. what should i do ?. i had my 3rd servicing recently and at each servicing i did complain about the mileage but due to the inconsistency i am not being able to understand whether i should wait till the 4th servicing or give the service provider my vehicle to identify the defect. Help !!
Is your driving style constant or does it vary? if your transit is during bad traffic it will affect the mileage and the if your run is during low traffic hours you will get more mileage, but it all boils down to if you are pushing the vehicle hard or driving in a more efficient manner. A few tips, always makes sure tyre pressure is accurate (at least once a week), try using semi synthetic engine oil for better mileage, pickup and engine life, try easing up on the throttle before a red light and letting the vehicle roll instead of braking hard before the stop light, try to be gentle on the throttle when starting off from 0kmph and gradually build up speed. See if this has any affect of mileage figures and then get back to us.
Motown India when i purchased this scooter i went on a trip with my friends where i tried to check it full speed and kept on riding at a speed of 80 for an hour. People say that when one get a new vehicle one shouldn't ride it above 60. Unknowingly i did a mistake. Is for that reason i am having this problem ? How can it be fixed ? i am scared.
Hello Aakash. Is this scooter is successful in hilly areas ? And what about its mileage in hilly areas ? How much weight it can easily bear on high roads ? Plz Reply as soon as possible.
Hi Ronit. The scooter is great even for hilly areas and can easily take the load of two people. Would not say that it will be as peppy with some load but it will handle the weight of two people and a bag or two. The mileage could vary depending on how you ride but you can expect something close to 50kmpl. Again depending on the nature of riding this could vary.
It's all rounder scooter it's hilly , off-road, and cruise and also good long ride iam taking a total 900 Kam journey with this scooter and what a lovely journey i am really love Yamaha company my favourite two wheeler company is Yamaha and Suzuki
There is not a noticeable change in weight. The Ray ZR is only about a kilo heavier. The scooty feels relatively light even if you have to drag it in any situation.
Both the scooters sit in different segments so there is no direct comparison. The Aprilia SR150 definitely performs much better but also costs more. However, in terms of practicality and features the Cygnus Ray ZR wins over the SR150.
130mm ground clearance on Indian roads is a big joke. ..no suspension can sustain the roads with such low ground clearance... what was Yamaha thinking?😁
Sir both products are in different segments and price brackets. We feel both do justice to their respective prices. If you want convenience and mileage then we would suggest going for the Yamaha Ray ZR but if you want sheer driving pleasure and speed then the SR150 would serve you better.
