I always clean mine out with turps & for the needle valve pivot just tap it out from the opposite side with small screw driver in the future or use thinners to clean it out but dont get it on the O rings has they'll shink.& allso it should of a small fuel filter inside the little stub where the fuel line fit's too the carb
Plenty of vids out there hold the carb upside down but to the left hand side at a Angle about 45* then it should be seated and closed if not hold the flue pipe in your mouth blow and shut the floats your self bent the tab that holds the float needle either way you want it to go if your carb over flows and leaks fuel from other pipes it’s not high enough it’s letting to much fuel in if your riding and get to a mid/higher rpm and she bogs dies and starts again you’ve not got enough fuel in the bowl of the carb and your staving of fuel mate I hope i helped you but search float height settings on here there is tolerance but it’s basically all the same tbh mate
