Just got DTX522K and this APP is awesome! Easy to use and setup. Thanks for this tutorial.

It would be nice if the app was also available for Android !

I'm getting a Yamaha DTX402 kit to learn from because of the Android app. I'll be avoiding Yamahas higher end kits when it's time to upgrade because the lack of Android app.

After having just bought the kit I feel seriously cheated learning this isn't available for Android. Porting this simple interface layer onto Android IS NOT HARD TO DO, Yamaha! Let me know if you need some help!

How do I connect my iPad to the DTX 502 module? Do I need a cable? If so, what type of cable? I downloaded the app, but don't know how to get started. Thanks

Yamaha doesn't care for the customers. 4 years and they still didn't make the app for Android. I was trying to choose between Yamaha and Roland, but Yamaha showed me witch one is better.

This is a great video. Can you PLEASE either do a video or provide instructions on the new iPad app for the DTX M12? I just downloaded the app and love it, but can't get it to work. I'm using an iConnectivity 1 in 1 out MIDI interface for Mac, PC, or iOS. Should I be using another interface (USB)? Please point me in the right direction so I can get going with this new app.

Unfortunately It seems that this app is available to US users only. Can't be downloaded from or in Australia.

Hello, whether yamaha dtx 502 module can be used to record sound and save in module if possible how to do it?

If you start editing a kit and don’t like the result, I’ve never seen an undo or cancel button on any of the edrums that I’ve played. I don’t see anything like that here either. Am I correct?

Is there any learning program?

Hi what is the correct way to connect these to the computer for recording? I'm using a recording interface that has 1/4 jacks and midi jacks. This interface has left and right outputs and midi outputs. Which am I supposed to use? Right now I'm using one mono 1/4" cable for each left and right into the interface into input 1 and 2 in my interface and arming two tracks on my recording DAW one being input 1 and one being input 2 but it just doesn't sound like some other people's recordings. Also if this is the correct way should I be panning the two tracks left and right or leave them centered? Please get back to me I can't find any information on this and it's driving me insane. Thank you

I'm so dissappointed with Yamaha, the module is excelent but how you dont make an app for android user, the most! ... unbelievable...and in other aspect...the module only have 1 MB of memory...seriously????

DTX502 Touch app is discontinued. Be carefull buyers. Yamaha throw away the app for this module. I bought this module 2 years ago now a basic feature lost. be aware.
