Yes its a very good kit for learning on. It has various excersices to keep you in time. Like metrnomes...And loads of songs to play along to, to learn how to keep time and improvise etc..
gr8 vid man.. :) I got my DtXplorer today so im really happy. :D So i think i´ll go and play now. =) And then read the manual for the module before i go to sleep. Thx 4 gr8 vid and insiration. Keep em coming. :)
I got my kit just a couple days ago. All the wires are included, and it´s really easy to put up. :P You just have one problem, to know where to put the empty boxes. :D they are kind of large. :D
You made my day... this is the drum set I'm getting... beats the Roland any day... you got a great style, so fast that when your playing with the slow song, looks like you could take those rolls way easy! please tell me the name of the song you jam up to!!! the french one!
I'm not just trying to butter you up so you'll demo all the kits... LOL! No, really, you are a very good drummer and I've enjoyed watching all of your videos.
Actually, I just checked out the newest addition to the Roland line, the TD-4 on RU-vid and on the Roland site. I am totally blown away by this new kit, especially since the price tag is the same as the TD-3. Fewer kits than the TD-3 but the sounds are much better and the whole thing looks like it's really going to give the Yamaha kits a run for the money. Thanks for the advice, though. I appreciate it.
AWESOME DRUMING>..mite get this.......since u have this can u plz tell me if this would be a good drumset to have if your in a rock band?? can this set go loud?
Somebody posted a video demo-ing all the kits of the Roland TD-3 module. I don't suppose you'd do that with this kit? Just for me? LOL. I'm trying to decide between this kit, the DTXpress IV, and the Roland TD-3. I would really like to hear all the kits and sounds from this module.
Your drumming is great! I'm trying to decide which electronic kit to buy: A Yamaha set like the one you have or the Roland entry-level kit. Do you have an amp for the drums in this video? I've heard the Roland drums don't have very good volume and that their cymbal sounds aren't as good as Yamaha's. I wish I knew which one to buy, although when I hear you play your kit, I want it! :)
did you upgrade your hi-hat trigger? im having trouble getting the sound i want out of mine and you got it, by the way your a phenomenal drummer, love your style.
anyone know how i can get the high hat to close all the time, im going to purchase a double bass pedal so i kinda want it down all the time and was just wondering how to do it, and good demo :)
you seem to know everything about these drums. I really want to get a kit for myself, the problem is im from Bucharest, Romania. I'm hoping you might know where can i buy it from. Thanks in advance.
if you plug a male/male jack from the headphones slot into the line in of your computer to record with audacity, you can't hear your playing. Or can you?
ok i am probably being stupid now. i hav this kit and wanna record it, so i plug the head phone out into my computer, but then, how do i listen to wat i am recording ?
so you dont use a mixer of any sorts? I ordered a DTXpress 4 last week and I want to make some vids the easiest way possibly and i dont have a mixer or anything. Do you just run the headphone out into your comp?
