She is fantastic in this performance. I watched her play during the Yamaha Electone Festival (Live) concert and I was truly iamazed with the way she captured the audiences attention. Tan Yan Tin deserved the Best Entertainer award. Some of the people sitting in front of me was dancing in their seat thru-out her performance.
This is great work. It saddens me for two reasons: (1) I know my HX-1 will never sound like that; (2) even if it could, I don't know how I would ever learn how to make that happen. It's a shame Yamaha Electone has chosen only to support the southeast Asian playing community. Still, a fine composition and very expressive. I wish I could work with musicians like you.
Very interesting! I luv it! Very expressive and young, talented girl. I wish to see her live in concert or festival when she plays. However, I could hardly hear what she's saying since she got an extremely strong accent (when she tried to introduce herself and the song name at the beginning). Excellent!
Stock techno beat in parts, but there are some original aspects to it for sure. Not that there's anything wrong with stock techno beats, it's the only way I know how to do things :)
This gal's got good showmanship. Showmanship is an important judging criterion at electone festivals. I was a regular at Yamaha Electone Festivals in my teenage yrs but my teacher also commented that I lose out on showmanship.
thank you, i never really asked, but you should really just say Asian b/c you really never know exactly unless you know her in person. but wat ever, thank you
oh well, not a critism but just my opinion on performer wise, I would expect to see more "originality" of the performer herself, not train the performer into instructor's "clone" or "mirror", it is just deficted the purpose of music. No doubt is a impressive performance, but I do not see any originality or new sparks brought out from the performer thought..
