Duke 250, Gixxer 250 and Fz25 all have comparable acceleration. Fz25 lacks a 6th gear, hence the lower top speed. Agar Fz25 me bhi 6th gear hoti toh it would've also been priced similarly to Duke 250 and Gixxer 250. As for N250 and NS 200, the only standout feature seems to be speedo error, Duke 250 never crossed 140 yet won the race whereas N250 and NS 200 were having their own competition over 143kph and still somehow lost 🤣🤣

@@ashfaqali9324 Lol your joking pal. You are underestimating the Duke 250, Gixxed 250 . First of all those bikes are 4v, Liquid Cooled (for the Gixxer 250 its Suzuki's Flagship SOCS), DOHC engines that Produce 10 & 6 HP more. FZ25 is unmistakably a 250cc commuter the other 2 are proper sport bikes. There's no way an F25 can come even close to the Gixxer 250, and not in your dreams for the Duke250. FZ25 is a 2V, SOHC, 250cc bike that has pwr nd torque in 20PS and 20Nm which is way too less for the 250cc segment. This is why there is almost a lakh difference for Gixxer 250 and more than a Lakh for Duke 250. Even if the FZ25 had a 6th gear it would not give it extra HP magically without making it rev higher, taken care of the cooling with a big Radiator and a Fan, a DOHC system, 4 Valves etc. Which wud make the F25 very expensive, almost a Lakh more expensive to be precise.

@@jashsylde8136 1. FZ already has oil cooling and a radiator also, not mentioned in paper specs but check out the bike for yourself 2. Peak power comes in closer to the limit and FZ's torque output is similar to the Gixxer and almost 4Nm lower than the Duke but it comes much earlier in the rev range and it also has a smaller stroke, meaning much quicker revs 3. FZ has a lower compression ratio allowing for superb low end grunt and gives a great punch of torque in the mid range quite similar to the Gixxer but something the Duke can't really boast about 4. SOHC DOHC is really not going to make a great difference in this category, like literally with a max of 30 horses, it is more useful to boost efficiency than increase power, especially with 250cc engines 5. Being the lightest, with the shortest stroke, oodles of torque throughout the rev range, the FZ25's acceleration really is a lot closer to the Gixxer and the Duke than paper specs might make you think but the FZ does not have much going for it at the top of its rev range 6. Like you said, if Yamaha were advertising everything that Suzuki and KTM say on paper about Gixxer 250 and Duke 250 respectively, they'll charge a lakh more and yes that exact bike exists, it's called the MT25 but sadly not in India Being someone who's ridden all three, both FZ and Gixxer are very lively motorcycles whereas the Duke comes alive only after 6k rpm and is a pain to ride anywhere under 4k rpm, just goes on to show how the power is tuned to be delivered and not everything can be seen from paper specs
