Hey thanks for the review buddy, I've been looking to buy this bike but all the Yamaha showrooms I checked in TVM don't have stock of FZ 25. They say that next month it might come but not sure, i can't wait to get my hands on it!! Your review has gotten me even more pumped up!!
bro me also same issue....in TVM there is no stock of fz25 . They said all other yamaha bikes and scooters are updated to bs6 phase 2 but the fz25 is not updated. They said they have no idea when the bike will be back in stock.I am in need of a bike but I don't know what to do ?
You can add a center stand under 1000rs from Yamaha, I do long tours and so far headlight is not that bad. I don't use gear position indicator. I agree on slip assist for clutch because the clutch action is big heavy and gears are but tight for many users.

One week ago again checked and got 48KMPL. Proper gear shift and bike maintenance will give you good milage. DM @wheelsonfire_in Instagram for more help regarding the topic.
Hi , i am planing to buy FZ 25 as my next bike. can u share a iink of the user manual of FZ 25 BS6, it will be a huge help to know the maintainance, warranty conditions etc. Thanks in advance
I currently own pulsar 220, 2017 model. I'm little confused. Should I go for new pulsar 250 or fz25 ? Since I'm living in Bangalore cutting through traffic is main concern that's why I'm avoiding dominar 250 & 400.
Bro FZ25 is a no nonsense bike, I own one and zi don't regret buying it. Gear shift is bit hard when compared to RC200, and Java but you get good milage, ample power and good comfort. Service is very good and maintenance is cheap.
Bro njan rtr 200 2v and FZ 25 confused anu rtr kurachude high revving ayi thoni and fz 25 and rtr 0-100 valiya difference um kandila but oru decision pattunila onu help cheyamo🙏 presently I ride a Yamaha SZR 153 cc.
Thank you for watching 🤗 Among these two CB 350 RS, but that bike is not the best in class. There was some issues reported in relation with its high altitude performance. You can consider RE Fireball 350, Classic 350, Dominar 400, upcoming Yezdi or Benelli TRK 251 ETC as well. Hondas maintenance coast and service is not up to the mark. (Before you buy do test ride and decide ) Finall FZ25 Is a powerful commuter and not at the same league of other bikes mentioned here.
Perfomance is based on your need, if you like a torque heavy bike go with Royal Enfield, because you won't have to do a lot of gear shift like CB350, Java etc. If you like a modern machine with good mid range and top end go with Dominar 400, if you like off Roading and comfi rides go with Himalayan, Xpulse or Benelli TRK 251, if you like a kid range bike with talll gearing and retro look (scramblerish) go for CB350 RS or Java 42 2.1. there are other bikes in market as well. Before you buy a bike list your needs and budget, then test ride and go. New bikes such as Pulsar F 250/N250 are in market as well.
Yes, better milage in segment, cheap maintenance cost, nice sound, comfortable seating for boy rider and pillion 😁 if you are a street bike lover then FZ25 will make you happy.
Bro ipo bike engne ind? I mean milage, pine bike ulla issues? Better milage kittan ethra speedil oodikam? Plz reply.. review super ayit und.. fz 25 inte RU-vid il ulla best review aan ithu
Best milage speed is between 50-80 , you can also push it to 90km per hour and get 48-49kmpl on highway. Only one issue is that there is early tarppet noise which is covered under warranty at 6k km.
Hi. I am planning to get a 250 soon. I have shortlisted the FZ25, Suzuki SF250 and now that the pulsar F250 eclipse edition has dual channel ABS, its also something i am looking at. I want long term reliability, hassle free ownership, good highway manners and somewhat exclusivety. Good pillion comfort will be an added bonus. Will the FZ25 be a good pick out of this trio? I have test ridden the FZ and loved the initial torque. I like the SF250 but am very sceptical about the after sales service and parts availability. Also is the new F250 worth looking at?
Hi I own an FZ250 BS6 and as a user point of view I won't suggest this bike. I had quality related issue on this bike also several others faced similar issues. Gixxer SF250 is a superior bike to F25. It's true that Suzuki has serval service delays but it depends on your state and service centre. Do some research on that. Since these bikes come at a premium these days I would suggest you expand your choices and wait. Royal Enfield hunter 350 will be launched soon at a price close to fz25 and I think that would be a good deal. If you can wait a bit long I will be posting a long term user review of fz25 bs6.
@@WheelsOnFire thanks for the reply. I had test ridden the FZ and loved the torque. Also i got to ride the SF150 instead of the 250 to get a feel of the seating posture. It felt like i am sitting on the bike rather than in the bike. The Fz had a comparatively big bike feel. Will the SF be comfortable in the long term including an okayish pillion seat that can go the distance? Also all suzuki service center google reviews around my place is very bad. I talked to a few owners and they said a few are actually fine. I was waiting for the RE Hunter but the looks look too plain. Will wait for your review as I am planning to get a bike in 1-2 months.
I love SF250 because of its looks and performance. I had a bad time with fz250 and I will be upgrading my bike some day soon. Tyre issues, fuel injection issues, egine noise etc are some long term issues. I dint think hunter 350 will be plain since new design team of RE is doing good. Anyways I will be shooting the review once I get well. I fell sick after my last product test ride and I did a tour on fz25 along with a Duke 250.
@@WheelsOnFire ohh okay. Get well soon brother. Also I can't really understand Malayalam. So would depend on the comments section more. Will wait for the review and meanwhile take a test ride of the SF250.

I will explain each bike in a simple way. 1) Apache RTR 200 with riding modes and adjustable suspension : Most value for money bike in the segment. It has enough power for city rides and Highway munching. Ample ground clearance for off road riding and has an amazing exhaust sound. Both rider and pillion comfort is okay and it will soon get an updat like the RTR160 may be a new instrument cluster as well. The addition of riding modes are cool and useful. Although it's not a deal breaking feature for me. I like the adjustable suspension and it's slipper clutch both are very useful. 2) FZ 250 : An all-rounder, has more power and torque and it's available at the low end and you will love this in city. It's good for touring. Seat comfort is best in th segment for both pillion and rider. Good tank range although you will get similar milage from RTR 200. 3) Dominar 250 : Bad for city because of its heavyweight but this weight is useful in highway. It's not for slow speed rides. Anything below 5-6k RPM will be boring and anything above that is amazing. Has better top end than first two and also a top speed as well. Ground clearance is not that bad but hard off road trails will be a bad choice. Thedeciding factors are , Where are you going to use the bike the most? City and Highway: RTR200 & FZ25, more highway : Dominar Milage : FZ25=RTR200>Dominar 250 Maintenance : RTR200
If there is a huge change in exhaust sound please take it to service center. It will usually cover under Engine warranty. I didn't feel much similarity to duke when I used FZ V3. Its a bit base havy and fun sound. Send the audio to @wheelsonfire_india on Instagram if you need further help.
bro.. your review made me even more confused. Actually i was very confused with FZ s v3 and hornet 2.0 and finally leaned towards hornet 2.0 considering as a 184cc and mileage approx 45-50. but now iam even confused when i saw this review video. bro.. can you please suggest me, enik daily 70 kms ride und, ( mixed with city & highway ) pinne occasional weekend tour ( around 200-300 kms ) , can you please suggest me which is better hornet / FZ25. Thanks in advance
Let me give you a clarification. Honda CB200X is an under powered bike with just cosmetic updates. It's essentially Hornet 2.0, a bike with very sedated performance. It's good for city rides, with its stiff suspension and low capacity motor. It will give you better milage but if you are already a 150cc user you will feel nothing like an upgrade. FZ250 is an all-rounder bike, VFM for its price and it has good performance. Acceleration, power, torque everything is a lot more than 200X. Milage depends on how you ride it. I am a mature rider and I did the engine break in for FZ25 which is why I got those milage figures. If you want an engaging ride experience, better high way and city performance and okay milage go for FZ 25, both these bikes have similar maintenance costs so you won't regret buying YAMAHA.
Don't decide on 5-8 KMPL extra milage, I am sure if you test ride both these bikes you willl definitely chose FZ25. Feel free to ask questions and take time to buy your next bike. Happy Riding 🤗
Thanks for ur valuable info bro.. In most of the reviews the economy was somewhere between 35 to 38.. That wasn't impressive one while hitting century and still not out ...Thats why I considered another option which seems like more efficient.. But you made it cleared👍👍❤️

This will rev up to 9-10k RPM, you don't have to rev it too much like MT15 to get the power, it's power is lenear and available from as low as 4500rpm. And acceleration is high on FZ25 than MT15. And one more thing, this bike is good for rev matching 🔥
I ride bikes for several years and trust me meter console is not the decision making factor for a bike. It adds to the experience but don't go for the display go for the whole experience. 😊
There is engine noise due to valve issue but it will be sorted after 6000km via free service. It comes under engine warrenty. Otherwise no engine related noises.

Tarppet sound is there but it's not an issue, they will resolve it under engine warrenty at 6k km. It's due to valve getting bit lose. Don't worry about that issue. It's common for almost all 250cc bikes.

FZ25 has better power and torque, milage is almost similar, rtr 200 has better ground clearance, better sound, slipper clutch is a good thing, but riding position is bit sporty, fz riding position is comfortable, pillion comfort is better on FZ25, service facilities are better for yamaha. I will do a review of RTR200 4V soon , waiting for its new update to launch. Test ride bikes are only available for bigger chanels so I relay on my network of friends.😇
Yamaha FZ25 for sure, This bike is more than what people say. Honda 200x is a basic commuter with some styling, FZ250 is a powerful bike. I did Touring, city, off-road and I find it as an all-rounder.
There is no doubt about that. If one has ridden both FZ250 AND Honda's 200 series either it be Hornet or CBX series. It's just a 184 cc single , can't even compare to Apache RTR 2004V with riding modes and adjustable suspension. That will do better all round riding than 200x.
According to me both are similar. Randum issues undu, rtr has service related issues so I picked fz25. If you have budget them go for something better than these.
Tarpett noise anel it's common in FZ25, DOMINAR25 and Gixxer 25, engine warrentyill cover akum at 6000KM. It's not a huge issue valve adjust ayal ath okay akum.
You can claim engine warrenty at 6000KM. Do it early and keep it under check. I spoke with the service center guys and I know the issue personally. So fix it early so that you can enjoy your rides without worry. 😇
Before first service : 40-42 KMPL (mixed Riding condition) After first service City : 45KMPL Highway :50+ KMPL High range : 48KMPL All tested using tank full method and tested twice in highway and city.
I did the engine break in hence some suggestions. 1) use 3500-4500RPM and keep it under 50-55KM speed 2) Shift gears at apt RPM 3) Don't push it This will give you good milage.
I don't suggest clutch less shifting but will be making a video on clutch , quick shifters, rev matching etc and I will add this topic as well. Thank you for your suggestion 💙
