290 lol, that's just death. You're riding on industrial. Grade. Death. The twisty thing on the right is for adjusting how much death you want. Settings are as follows: Goddamn, Holy shit, Jesus Christ, Fuck me.
Hello Lars, I love it too :) I dont know the topspeed actuly, it has the gearing for 335km/h but it is really windy around 300km/h. Still pulling wheelies over 200km/h
Great video! That looks like SO much fun! I ride an 06' GSXR-1000 thats fast,... but not like what you've got with that turbo power. Check out the video: RC51 vs GSXR-1000 Attack The Snake.
That is fucking insane. I have maxxed my car out at 190 km/h on a rural road and when I slowly started to break it was like an aeroplane landing at an airport.
Damn! 125 mph power wheelies! Holy fuckamolie! That means 150 mph plus wheelies with a little bit of clutch play. And that's to start. Fastest speedometer indicated wheelie I've ever rode I sat down at 158 mph. It's almost mind boggling to think that your bike could pull a wheelie at that speed. I have to say I am peanut butter and jealous.
+A Fox depends on what you're doing. 0-60 no doubt, you will own. past that, good luck. will slay you in 1/4 mile. low speed roll ons you probably have it for a few seconds, high speed... again, slayed.
Hello. I depend on how much you can do yourself. Pleas Contact me on alexander_hjelm@Hotmail.com and we can discuss more. But pleas dont compare this parts with lowprice kits without intercooler and lowered compression that produce 100hp less. This is stainles/aluminum high quality parts. Regards Alerxander
The controllpanel is for loggning and to display afr, tps, boost, rpm. I can log 6h drivning A smaller turbo would make it less ridable. Im thinking about to install a bigger one to get it easier to ride. I used the bike now for about 15000km with turbo without any problem, yamaha I love it!
TBH, non-turbo power of Fz1 is nothing to write home about. Its quite timid compared to 190hp (factory given numbers) race bikes. With turbo on, its beast, but which bike aint when it has turbo running?
1:17 Holy shit, i felt the adrenaline rush and the speed through my computer, i even got that sideways teardrop that goes back all the way in your hair.
I bet that's no quicker than any other bike on acceleration as you can't put the power down. You're having to change gear so quickly you're not exploiting the rev range or the turbo. A little bit pointless tbh
@Not Affiliated :The R1, after 50-60km/h, is a totally different beast. A beast that @ 4k RPM will wheelie violently on first gear and also at ~8k on 2nd gear. At least my Fz1 (was brand new, just like its replacement , the R1 2008), wouldnt wheelie as stock and it would on first gear ONLY ( as in powerwheelie) if the gas was nearly empty - only.
I will honestly tell you that my skills are not ready for that much bike! (-: But I do a lot of mountain road twisties...and my question is how does this set-up handlle the constant throttle changes of that type of riding? My 2012 FZ1 currently has a full Yoshi exhaust system, PC5, and K&N filters...and it will easily hang with most full-on SuperSport Bikes. But, like most riders, I am always interested in MORE Power! But I DO want smooth throttle change even more than raw power... I will stay in touch...and may want to talk to you about buying this system in the near future...
what have you done with the clutch on this? I built a turbo fz09, running about 9.5 psi and 185whp and up to 12psi or 0.81bar, making 220whp, heavy springs are not holding as well in 5th and 6th gear.
I have a 2014 FZ-09 that I've taken drag racing, canyon carving and general mayhem riding. This is probably the best motor Yamaha has built in a while and certainly the best triple of all, but, there is NO way I'd add anymore power to this inherently unstable, ill handling, soft suspension, short coupled bike! It wheelies far too easily as it is, adding another 100HP would seem to me to take even further away from the riding experience it has. That is, until the crappy forks can be made to dampen far better than they do now, the rear shock and geometry is addressed and it is able to take corners that you can bank further than 35-40 degrees without losing the very light and rebound happy front end. Except for an M4 slip on and component removal, mine will stay stock.
Obviously faster than even your modded fz1 but seriously twice the horsepower? I'd like to see the dyno personally. That would be a world record or some shit
