Yes many are reporting lower mileage for city usage. 22/23 is really low unless your friend is riding totally within city and with heavy traffic. Otherwise, Highway mileage isn't that bad for FZ25. Hi, Mileage toh apne dekhi li, highway pe 50-60 speady speed se achi mileage or mill nahi sakti. Local city pe isse kom hi milega. 30 kmpl average pakad ke chaliye.

Hello Sir, Get your first service done before the trip. Running in is for first 1000kms. Toh uske bad app aram se gari Ko long trip par leja sakte ho. Par service karva lijiye ga, new engine oil par ye trip ki jiye.

There are many Motul. From cheaper to expensive in following order Motul 3000 (Mineral) Motul 3100 (semi Synth) Motul 5100 (semi synthetic) Motul 7100 (full synthetic) Motul 300v (racing type) 5100 is more highway specific I think being much thicker than 7100. 300v is overkill I guess. So yes, you can use 5100/7100/300v without any problems. Avoid 3000/3100. Regarding difference, yes, vibrations are less & last longer than YamaLube given from service centre. But Frankly you can't enjoy Motul much within city, it shows its benefits when you are out in long trips or in extreme heat weather. YamaLube isn't bad for regular city use or those evening homely tasks of market hoping or visiting friends within shorter distance Thanks.

Why do yo need the bike? looks? long distance touring mainly? office commute? sab se jyada app konsi use karoge ? ghar ke pass konsi service center jyada hye ? bajaj wale, ya fir yamaha ? Same price pe, app ko do our option milne wala hye, Bajaj NS200 and RTR 200. Yamaha FZ25 is good for commuting, long distance touring but ye bike aggressive nahi hye, best performance 70/80 ke niche hye. Agar aggressive riding chaihye toh NS200 ye fir RTR200 ke bare me soche. FZ25 me comfort jyada hye. Thanks.

Hello, FZ25 pahar ke liye achi tourer hye. Low and mid range torque is really good. Gari Fi engine wali hye, usme O2 sensor hye to high altitude pe performance achi hogi. kuch chise app dhyan rakhiye, No.1 Headlight, nigh riding karni mushkil hogi, toh plan kijiye ga ke jitni ho din ke ujale me ride kare. Iski headlight bilkul bakwas hye. No.2 Tank bag latkane me dikkat ho sakti hye FZ25 ki rear seat ke bahar jo plastic wala parts hye uske liye. Toh saman ki planning us hisab se kare. Baki achchi bike hye, ho sake toh achchi mobile use kijiya ga, pahar pe high rev low gear hogi, toh engine heat hogi thori bohot. Thanks.

Regardless of gear or speed, vibration or harshness starts right after 4500/5000 RPM and gets worse further up. One common issue of FZ25 is tappet or valve clearance. Ask service centre to adjust the tappet according to the specification. They charge Rs. 300/- for this job. Make sure they do this work in a dead cold engine. Secondly, check the chain slackness. Ask the service centre to adjust the drive chain slackness and as a rider, always keep your chain well lubricated. So if you are using this oil, make sure to change it within that time frame or if your running is more, like long distance touring or commuting more than 80/100 KM's a day, try better oil like Motul 5100 10W40 or Motul 7100 10W40 Further, as your bike ages, bearings / axles need lubrication too. @@LazyTourer thankyou so much 😇 but one thing i am noticing its not feeling that much powerful. Although it has ample amount of torque and power of 20bhp. People enjoy this bike and says wow its a practical motorcycle also lot of youtubers says it brings smile on face whenever you ride but kinda not getting power like 20bhp. Why so ? Is it because its new or what? Also i feel like the engine is getting stress and sounds jerky though it should not naturally sound like that cause its brand new. It sounds jerky and stressed which tends to happen in higher rpm and lower gear but i am not doing it in that way i am not revving it up high neither putting in lower gear. Get used to it. There are few things you can do to reduce this bad feeling 1. Do the running in properly 2. After 2500 kms, switch to thicker oil like Motul 5100T 3. Hi, 80-90 kmph is a good stress free cruising speed of FZ25 !! Single rider may push it up over triple digits for those needed over taking but it will feel stressed over 100, so bring it down to 80-90 for that smooth and stress free cruising experience Thanks

No engine oil is bad, it's just their drain interval varies between a good one and a better. Some oils give better riding pleasure over others. But if you maintain the right draining interval depending on the oil quality, protection would be the same. Most of the users won't have problems using Yamaha company given oil, that is YamaLube . But don't stretch it for full service intervals, do it in half way mark, that is every 2500 KM's if your riding is more. For specialist requirements, like those who are frequently doing 300 or more KM's per day riding, like tourers, who use their bikes for long drives, they can benefit from switching to higher priced oil like Motul 5100 / Motul 300v type solutions. They can be used with 5000kms drain interval but don't forget to check oil level once every 1500-2000 KM's and top up if needed. For most of the normal city users are weekend highway ride, YamaLube (company given oil) is good enough.

Indian summer will produce heat. No doubt on that. But if that heat is more than other FZ25, that is the question. First I suggest ask your friends or search your self for another bike to test ride to check if the heat produced by your engine is more than other FZ25. Now if it's heating up more than other bikes, then you need to troubleshoot few things, like if wheels are free or brake is dragging. Put the bike on main stand, and check the wheel for free rotation. No.2, service needs to check if you oil cooler and pump are working as per specification. No.3, if air filter and air line to injectors are free from any dust or blockage !! No.3 if tappet (valve clearance settings) clearance is as per specification (I have seen its a common issue on FZ250 engine that tappet gets lose and needs adjusting every now and then). But before that, check by test riding other FZ25 on same road as you ride your bike. Thanks.

Bro.. u r right.. wheel problem only .. air leakage was found in the rear wheel and it was fixed and the engine heating gradually decreased. I crossed 3k km.. what engine oil will u suggest to make the engine cool in traffic..

You can stay with company given YamaLube engine oil. Not bad for normal city usage but certainly not good enough to run service to service. Follow a 1500 to 2000 kms drain interval. There are other expensive oil, such as Motul 5100 / 7100 or 300v. But they are more helpful if your usage is very demanding, like riding over 120 to 150 kms (4/5 hours of riding) in city every day or you are into long distance heavy duty touring. The service given company branded YamaLube should be fine. Thanks and glad to know you have found the source of heating problem !!

Consider Suzuki 250cc.. Much better than this Yamaha 250cc engine. For 150cc, MT is definitely better than anything else but in 250cc, Yamaha messed up with their engine It's completely opposite of what Yamaha is known for. Has oil leakage issues, constant tapped issues, it's rough like Bajaj P220 & loses efficiency higher up after crossing the mid range. Thanks.

Hello, I have shared my views based on my experience.. Every product has some positives and some negatives. Based on your requirement, you choose the one best suited for your need. Coming to the seat, you can add soft foam (4 wheeler car seat material) and then wrap it with good quality cover. It is called seat building. That way you can make the seat as soft or hard you wish. Here in Kolkata, usually costs around Rs. 1000/1200 or bit higher depending on what cover quality is selected. Engine Oil / Chain Slackness & wetness / Shifter Shaft Spring plays a major roll in gearshift quality. If a bike had smooth shift to start with and later it feels hard, one needs to check those above points. Thanks.

Hello, When buying second hand, personally I wouldn't fix my eye on a particular model. Rather, i would look for a better deal, be it any model, if the deal is great, I would go for that. RTR200 is fine. Personally I don't like it because of vibration & stiff suspension (track oriented) setup. It's good for normal usage but painful for touring. Thanks.

Slight vibration is there due to road surface but if it's more than other bikes then check your Tyre pressure. Your tyres may be having extra pressure than recommend. Thanks

No the bike doesn't over heat. 30/30 or 45/45 rule we talked in the video is for running in only. Engine ko aise baby ki tarha sirf running in / brake in ki time pe chala te hye. Ta ki over heating ki sawal hi na uthe. Normally rider pahle tah jayega, par FZ25 chalta jayga.

Are you facing any issues with your brake pads? Please elaborate that. Over time rear brakes do make some grinding noise but tightening the chain or adjustments to it along with rear axle alignment solves the issue. What is the issue you are facing?

Thanks for the comment. Engine oil change is really simple work. Infact you can do it yourself. Yamaha ya fir kisi v gari our bike me tools di hui he oil change khudse karne ke liye . Manual book me vi likha hye oil change process
