I've had this keyboard for a few years now and there's been a few buttons I've been meaning to find out what they do and I never get around to it cause I just start playing and forget until the next time...... Wow! Best tutorial video I've seen to date, and I will be following your other videos as well with great interest. That being said I don't actually own a Genos yet, as I can't afford to buy one till next February 2021, but as that's not too far away, I thought I would get to grips with a few turorials, so that I am not completely ignorant when I get one, and was thrilled to find someone who has done several of them on different topics addressing the different things you can do on it. At the moment I own a very old Yamaha PSR2000 which I've had for 19 years - she had never let me down, hence wanting to upgrade to another Yamaha product. As I am a Musician/Composer the Genos is going to make such a difference to me - Next Feb can't come soon enough for me!!

Hi mike, on my Tyros the Tap Tempo button, I have used to find a Style for a song. When you tap that button at a speed you want, it gives you a choice of styles that match that speed. Great Tutorial on the Genos, maybe some day I might have one.

Mike; Thank for putting this video together. It saved me a lot of time in understanding several new controls. I am a former PSRs970 and moved recently to a Genos. Have a question for you: Is there a way to know what style was used, when you do a MIDI quick recording and save the created song? In the PSRs970, whenever I played a song, which were recorded with the keyboard style, I could see in the display the style name used to record the song. Apparently we don't have this capability in the Genos? Tks. Claudio

Hi Mike, I made a mistake on the Tap Tempo, It's the Recommend button to find a style for a song you don't know what to use. To find the Recommend button chose any style and on the bottom row you see recommend, select that button and follow the screen instructions. Sorry for the mistake I had not used it for a long time
