I have owned a 2007 for 8 yrs now and can only say...I love it as much as I did the first day!! I also have a 2014 Honda CTX700 DCT and if I want to go on long trips, my first choice is the Yamaha Majesty! One the comfort, two, the fuel economy 70+ mpg's!!! And three, the storage! Even though, I think I'd like to add saddlebags.... We'll see.
Hi everyone, I didn't think this video would get this many views. This was just meant to be shown to a few friends. The top speed of the scooter on flat ground is about 90mph as said by GPS. The speedometer does read high.
@@jeffbateman2339 lol nothing is limited when you have DIY know how .i can change the bore. The cam the carb the pipe and a few other things and this bike would fly past 110 easy.!!!!
I'm at the same junction in life. I have a 150ie LX Vespa I can cruise up hill at 55 to 60. But once I get a good head wind, I will easily lose 5 mph or more. Even in the city, I wish I had more power. I can usually take people from the jump, but since I top out at 60.. In California, that's just not fast enough.
Yes, 75 MPH (GPS) with 280 pound 6ft 2in me, a six inches wind screen extension, while towing a one wheel trailer with a gross loaded weight of about 100 pounds, and able to maintain that speed up modest grade into a headwind.
@@charlesdwilson2112 My Burgman is currently in the shop right now. I am riding a lender bike, Honda Reflex 250cc. It moves well, bit gets there much slower than the burgman ever did. It's interesting but I definitely miss my Burgman a lot.
@@Triangulove I want a Burgman 200/400. I am disabled and have problems with to much weight and old knees/feet. The 400 would be perfect for me. I have looked into the Kymco Xtown 300i/ Yamaha Xmax 300 also.
@@charlesdwilson2112 I hope you found a bike, I have a Burgman 400. I rode an X Max for a few days, was a good bike but after 30 minutes riding my back started to ache and it's a bit higher than the 400 Burgman I'm 5 and a half feet tall. Stay Safe
@@rico-989 Some one stole the PCX and trashed it. I took the money and bought a 1989 Yamaha Virago XV250 (Route66). Nice little cruiser bike and super light weight. I have had it since May of this year and have customized it to a rat bike. Open exhaust and sprocket change made this thing a blast to ride. When my R.A. gets so bad I can not control the clutch and shifting then I will go back to a maxi scooter. Salute 07
